Personal favors? I really have no clue.

Maybe were trading for Brady? (Joking don't freak out on me)

Just a wild ass guess on my part, but maybe the team is looking to trade McFadden and going to bring back a large contract for a position of need from a team looking for salary cap relief?

That, or we are clearing the way for Hardy again? I kid, I kid... I hope.

Seems extremely odd to make all this cap room for this year if nothing is on the horizon, but hope some pass rush is coming

Is there still the ability to rollover money you were under one year to the next? If so, we may be doing this now getting prepared to release Romo next year. Adding the little extra now to not hurt our 2017 cap for potential signings.

It seems Spotrac's cap numbers were a bit off the other day when I checked. They had Dallas listed as having $12+mil in cap space. Today, after Scandrick and Witten's restructure, Spotrac has us listed as only having $4.6 mil in cap space.

These deals make a little more sense in that context.

I don't see any way Romo is not on this roster next year. Dallas literally can't afford him not playing. In fact, Tyron Smith and Travis frederick will likely have to be restructured to make everything fit.

I don't think that Spotrac can be right then. Lee and Scandrick restructures cleared around 8.5 mil for 2016. Witten's cleared another 3 mil. We should be at least 11.5 mil in the green, depending on where we landed after final cuts.

Who else besides Sanchez have we added that would be counted toward the cap that previously wouldn't have been? Maybe they had updated our cap after Sanchez and after Scandrick and Lee to get the $4.6 mil number?
