Believe me, I understand that insurance companies are most responsible for ruining things. But that's also a cop out by the league.

Kinda. I'm a contractor and an employer. Ive looked in to not testing for weed but there's too much liability with any kind of high injury risk profession. My premiums would more than double if we didn't test for drugs. I can't imagine anyone would even think to offer the NFL a medical policy unless they test for all class a drugs.

I don't get it. If the Cowboys are having trouble getting guys to pass a simple drug test, why doesn't Jerry hire them a tutor?

Reports are Jerry did ask some coeds if they would be willing to pee for some players, but apparently the coeds had to have some nose candy to be able to hang out one night with Jerry...

Even if it become legal nationwide the NFL still has the right to not allow pot use by their players. The NFLPA could fight the NFL on this policy and get it approved in the next collective bargaining agreement.

Then they are even bigger assholes than they currently appear to be.

And likely in bed with Big Pharmaceutical.

You are on to something there. Big pharma and insurance companies share common interests in keeping marijuana illegal.

Should all professions allow Marijuana use, or slow least stop testing for it?

Do they test for booze or smokes?

I was replying to the comment that even if pot was legal they could still decide to ban it.

I wouldn't want a drunk airline pilot either.

And all those ciggy addicts have not helped my life insurance rates.

What is their connection to big pharmaceutical? Link please.

fuck links, use commons sense.

If pot was legal as you sort of stated and they still banned it there could only be one reason.

In bed with the makers of vicodin and ocycodin or whatever the fuck they are called.

I posted a link once that has Jim McMahon and Jake Plummer 100% in favour of herb over the addictive opiods.

Either you are being deliberately obtuse or maybe you own shares in Big Pharma....

Should have been a yes no question.

It isn't a yes or no answer though.

Would I give a fuck if a bunch of off duty soldiers wanted to have an joint? Nope. I know you have military in your background, but I saw Platoon..... Completely harmless.

And as I said would I want long distance truckers or pilots driving drunk or otherwise? Obviously no.

But I sure as fuck wouldn't want to be hooked on vicodin.

And for the record I'm a professional. Beancounter, educated.

Has not affected my on the job performance one iota.

Going on 40 years of enjoyment too.

So will you admit it not all as safe as some of the pro legalization crowd claim it to be?
I definitely had Law Enforcement, Medical and public drivers in mind. I don't want my surgeon high.

me neither, but what if he smoked the night before. Is that different than 2 martinis the night before?
what if the surgeon popped two vicodin the night before? Is there a difference from catching a buzz?

Don't want my surgeon drunk, or high on anybdrug, just that I've been told it's safe, and non addicting. If it's legal I will not complain, but if I had my way I'd keep it illegal. That said I know soon enough it be state legal across the nation.

Idk why anyone is against legalization. The pros far outweigh the cons.

I say it depends on how much you use and what you do soon afterwards. Now seeing what synthetic MJ does to users I'd support legalizing natural MJ if it eliminated synthetic.
