I'll gladly eat crow.

Nahshon Wright stood out the most in a positive way over the weekend.

I will eat crow as well.. I want this kid to do well. I get what Quinn is trying to do . Zone defense all that length to disrupt passing lanes. I think that mukamara kid is going to be a ballhawk. He has got great hands. Nice to see the cowboys drafting players that actually have ball skills. You dont need a top 10 defense to win the NFC east . You need a defense that takes the ball away.

Jaylon Smith to wear #9. Let's of angry Cowboy fans over this.

Personally other than #12, I don't care who's number is worn today.

Sir Robin Of Camelot

You seem angry. Miserable, even.

Some people are just bound to be angry. Miserable even.

Other than 12 & 74... and maybe 8 & 22... I’m not sure any numbers are off limits.

Prescott remains on track to be a full
participant in training camp sessions, and he has said on multiple occasions this spring he could "play a game now" if one was scheduled. He'll have to wait until at least Aug. 5, when the Cowboys face the Pittsburgh Steelers in this year's Hall of Fame Game.

12 to me would be the only one. 22 might be brave/arrogant to take, but you better deliver.

I don't have a problem with a player wearing #9, but it's just a little too early for my taste. Let it sit a decade.

Not looking to brawl here fellas you know me but why is 9 all that special? IMO he is the equivalent of Danny White in accomplishments.

It's definitely not all that special historically speaking. It's just the one that was recently taken and a guy that just recently retired. Add in that it's Jaylon and instead of his focus being on getting better at Football it's about his brand. Now of course you can do both, but it's just the optics of a player that doesn't get it; proven by his response to his shit play last year being "watch the tape". :2cents:

Good point. I think Romo was better than White though. White played on better teams and for better coaches.. 88,22,12,8 and 54 were hall of famers and white and Romo are not HOF worthy IMO. So I dont care about 9 and 11 as much as other fans.

Yep, the tape I watched was embarrassing at times. Jaylon seemed to be playing with blindfolds on. No understanding of what the opposing offenses were doing. Where was the gap integrity? He also seems to have lost speed as well. Most of his tackles were made 10 yards down the field.

100000% agree. It is not so much as the number change it is more about Jaylon's priorities.

Per Archer.

CeeDee Lamb did not have a traditional offseason program last year because of the pandemic, so he said he “feels like a rookie,” as he goes through his first OTAs. If so, he's a rookie with 74 catches for 935 yards and five touchdowns under his belt. “I feel like the jump is definitely there,” Lamb said. “It's all on the future to gauge it. I am excited about the future, can't wait for the season. OTAs has a been a big plus for me.”

Jaylon Smith is a great story but also a cautionary one one in that I don’t think he gets it. The Brand might be ok but His tape sucks moon floss (That’s redneckese for any toilet-paper ). If his play does not improve dramatically he might be at the bottom of the outhouse until he can be cut. Cap hit and Jerry drama I don’t know but that’s how I see it.

Sure to raise some eyebrows.

Big IF, If Smith and LVE bounce back then I'll agree but if they don't PFF is way off.

6. DALLAS COWBOYS

To accept Dallas this high on the list, look beyond the disaster that was their 2020 season and acknowledge the talent they have at the position, particularly factoring in rookies. Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch were both poor in 2020, with neither earning an overall PFF grade above 55.0 and injuries also being a factor. Each player has a previous season with an 84.0-plus grade on their resume. They are now joined by Micah Parsons, the best linebacker prospect to enter the league in several seasons. This unit has incredible potential, but it needs to translate that into real production
