Nope.... I disagree with the 'tank' approach. Stroud or Young isn't necessarily going to save some shit team. Yah it happens, but RARELY.

A winning culture, coaching staff, and locker room (at least with NFL) is far greater than what a #1 overall QB (assuming you can draft one) is going to bring. I've said it all offseason and never changed my stance (if you guys want to dig up old posts and I said it I'm happy to eat crow), do not tank a season for draft picks. That's one of the stupidest moves in the NFL.

My point is, IF Seattle makes the playoffs there's a LOT of things going right. You've got a young group of guys that are putting together a winning team. Given the number of early draft picks Seattle has, you can build on that and create a future winning/SBOWL contender. Yes the QB position is probably the hardest and most position in all of sports, but surround the guy with enough talent (through draft and free agency - which is easier to do with a winning team) and you may have something. If one of the QBs was a sure lock absolutely 100% franchise defining thing, then we'd see far more ridiculous trades than we actually see.

I'm not saying Geno is the answer. We're 1/3 of the way through the season. Maybe Geno sucks the rest of the year, in which case yah... you start scouting/looking immediately. But as of now, if you're a Seahawks fan - you should be ABSOLUTELY 100% rooting for the team to make the playoffs. It is going to be way better gains than a top 5 draft pick or rookie QB. There's still 21 other players out there.
