Blow it up? No. Adress two spots on the oline via draft and fa? Yes. Continue to draft from strength in some spots, trade the excess good players like we've done, and suck it up for next year. If Russ sucks then restructure mid 2023, and plan on getting a qb via trade or the draft. Draft is better, since we could carry Russ' cap hit while the new qb is on his rookie contract.

Texans aren't in rebuilding mode, they just plain suck from the top down.

It was refreshing after the Groundhog Day interviews with Hackett. At least Rosberg gives an illusion of having a next step. Exudes some confidence.

1. Agree
2. Yet competing in almost every game over the last half of the season.

Are we going to get a T worth a crap at 29-31 in this draft?

Personally, I don’t think it necessarily has to be OT. Maybe it’s the best OC in the draft. Or perhaps BPA. Lots to sort out between now and then.

I agree this fellow spoke from the heart. I was skeptical at the firing of the Oline Coach and the ST coach, but the new coach explained it was his decision and he wanted to win the last two games. Good for him!

Also, I would have considered firing that OL coach 2 months ago. Interesting that was one of the first items of biz for Rosberg.
Maybe we have some functional players already that just needed some coaching.

George could give a heck of a speech. Doesn't make him a good coach. ;)

Good point, but don’t underestimate the power of effective communication. Also, Ros’dude’ has some swagger at the podium that has been sorely missing.

I think whatever the future plan is broncos fans need to be realistic. We aren’t a piece or two away from playoffs or competing for division. We are more like 2-3 years and that is if Wilson gets it figured out. We can’t be calling for the 2023 HC to be fired mid season and we need to acknowledge we won’t plug all the holes this off-season.

‘Be realistic’ but also expect the unexpected.

r0k, Rosberg mentioned the parity in this league during his speech. While we may be as far away as you say, objects in the mirror may be closer than they seem. Tim Patrick, Javonte Williams, Garrett Bolles, Caden Sterns, Jonas Griffith and KJ Hamler may fill some holes. And what do we have in Christopher Allen opposing a healthy Randy Gregory?

We’re a long way away from ’23 season, but what we need more than anything is a plan with a positive progression. This season I like to term Groundhog Week. Same crap on the field, same Deer-in-the-Headlights at the podium. Every week. No improvement. No adjustment.

We need to maintain defense production and add the slightest of competency on offense and fix annual stink of special teams. I really think we could be close to at least discussing the post season sooner than later if we can get a little tailwind.

I think you go in acknowledging you won’t fix it all in 1 season. I think getting healthy and a coach that has skills beyond looking like a miserable person will go a long way.

I am not sure who is available via FA and draft but I would look at getting 1 potential starter from each draft and FA.

On a less serious note. Broncos Reddit discussed just blowing it all up. In this scenario you accept a crappy 2023 season. Cut Wilson and trade everything you can get value out of. You field a bunch of minimum wage UDFAs and start fresh in 2024 with a plethora draft picks.
I don't even think you need to cut Wilson in 2023 season as he is perfectly capable of tanking on his own.

o be fair, west a very large majority of games by seven points or less.

I think an adequate coach could have likely got us to 500 with this team, even with injuries.
