Incorrect. But probably played a role. Theres another theory that Hackett is a great idea guy who interviews well, but didn't have a clue what he was really getting into.Thanks. I couldn't remember. And just wondering if there's any truth to the rumor I've heard around here. Sadly I'm currently stuck in Bolder, don't care for it. Is it true the only reason Hackett was hired was the organization thought they had a legit shot at getting Rodgers?

I think most HC's who call plays you have to be really careful when you hire their coordinators, because in all likelihood you never really know just how good they are.
Except Eric Bienemy. Everyone knows he's not worth the salt on Andy Reid's burger.
An owner who thinks they know what they are doing is my biggest fear. Warning 1 was signing Wilson to massive extension.More weird the owner is going to lead the coaching search, who has zero football knowledge, with "support" from the front office.
Nice touch adding that Paton has "my full confidence ".
Even though its a huge mistake, I'd brush up the resume George.
Do you think it would be an offensive minded HC? Quinn was the first guy that went through my mind as well since he was a finalist last year with the Broncos HC...Wish we had hired the guy I wanted last year, Kevin O'Connell.
Probably get Dan Quinn.
Russ for Payton and (2) 1st and (2) 2nd rounders?Do you think it would be an offensive minded HC? Quinn was the first guy that went through my mind as well since he was a finalist last year with the Broncos HC...
I would say Sean Payton but I don't think the Broncos have any more or want to give up more draft picks to the Saints for the rights to Payton...
Warning sign 2: saying Paton would assist his search for a coach. An owner who thinks they know what they are doing is my biggest fear. Warning 1 was signing Wilson to massive extension.
Payton has already said he's bringing gramps with him as DC. Aint no way he's coming here now.Do you think it would be an offensive minded HC? Quinn was the first guy that went through my mind as well since he was a finalist last year with the Broncos HC...

I'm curious how this is a PR move when the results of the trade are shown to the fans and nation every Sunday.Obviously a PR move to shift blame on one of the worst trades in history.
way beforeWas Hackett hired before or after the sale of them team?
From who is available and who might actually take it, different lists. But I'm hopeful for Ken Dorsey or Gannon before anyone else.Said this earlier in the season but Hackett reminds me so much of Freddie Kitchens. Two guys that just had no business being HC's.
Who would you like to see as the next Broncos coach?
Thoughts on Johnson? From who is available and who might actually take it, different lists. But I'm hopeful for Ken Dorsey or Gannon before anyone else.
