Thanks. I couldn't remember. And just wondering if there's any truth to the rumor I've heard around here. Sadly I'm currently stuck in Bolder, don't care for it. Is it true the only reason Hackett was hired was the organization thought they had a legit shot at getting Rodgers?

Incorrect. But probably played a role. Theres another theory that Hackett is a great idea guy who interviews well, but didn't have a clue what he was really getting into.

I think most HC's who call plays you have to be really careful when you hire their coordinators, because in all likelihood you never really know just how good they are.

Except Eric Bienemy. Everyone knows he's not worth the salt on Andy Reid's burger.

I would say Sean Payton but I don't think the Broncos have any more or want to give up more draft picks to the Saints for the rights to Payton...

Payton has already said he's bringing gramps with him as DC. Aint no way he's coming here now.

Obviously a PR move to shift blame on one of the worst trades in history.

I'm curious how this is a PR move when the results of the trade are shown to the fans and nation every Sunday.

There's no conspiracy here, it's a decision made based on actual data and results. Hackett couldn't hack it. Period.

Local Denver radio hosts are already saying Harbaugh is the owner’s primary target. Wouldn’t shock me if he is, but it’s way too early to know for sure.

I was a proponent of the hire, but I was 100% wrong. Great guy, nice back story and thoughts, but Hackett just never improved, adjusted etc... It was simply too much for him. This was the right move. Wish it wouldn't cost up Ejiro, but I think it will.
