I love dennard, but he's NOT going to be a very solid player in the pros.

He's slow & un agile. He has horrific ball skills & he shined in pelini's system because he could maul the receivers with his physicalness.

He cannot touch receiver's in the show. He'll get beat over the top & he'll get beat on double moves. Zach Bowman is a better pro corner than Dennard. His 7th round selection had little to do with his cop fiasco and more to do with his "not being a great corner" situation.

FACT. Bookmarkit, however you want to trademark it.

I'd love to see him have a 12 year pro bowl career but the way the NFL is set up, he's up shit creek without a paddle.

FYI the pats Defensive back draft history has been lousy at best over the last 5 years or so. That's not too promising.

They hit on McCourty and Chung recently. I think it's been more of a lack of emphasis than poor drafting.
