Again, he didn't drop to the 7th round just because of the cop incident.
He had a terrible senior bowl week, the combine was not good, his best season was 2 seasons ago when he had a stud CB opposite him, and few teams utilize a press man physical CB. The options on teams were low.

Get over it. He is on a great team that had WRs that were playing CB last year so they needed the bodies. He will be an ok player and have a decent career.

I love picking and choosing of when a media person is an idiot or a genius. If a media guy talks about an off the field incident then he is an idiot. If they say something good about "my guy" then he is a genius.

The reason the media takes stories and spins them the way they want, is because they know it's exactly what we want.........and that's how they generate interest and money

In fact, usually I put quotes around the word "expert" to verify that I am indeed calling them "experts" in a sarcastic tone..............for some reason I didn't do it this time.

However, with that said, these "experts" know a hell of a lot more about the Draft than we do.

All media does not do that. Just the sloppy lazy media. That is what ESPN is. That is why I don't watch them.

They most definitely do know more than any of us. The people that I have heard eluded that they weren't that surprised to see him drop that far and it wasn't all about the cop stuff. Maybe not 7th round but their was a limited amount of teams that utilize his abilities. All I kept hearing was that his off man coverage on film and in workouts was terrible. He is much more comfortable up in the WRs face. Look at the Michigan St game with Cunningham, the Iowa game with McNutt, and the bowl game with Jeffries. He played well against Jeffries and shut down the other 2. All 3 of those guys got drafted. Not every team in the NFL was going to want him anyway because he doesn't fit their style. Those teams are drafting players that will fit what they want to do.

Btw, I hope you know that this is just a discussion. I am not fired up at all.
