They have to be. Pats just waived Thornton too (now a Chief). Polk is a nice player, but not a 1 in the NFL. Maybe Baker emerges to be that guy. Right now, Boutte and Bourne are blocking them with mediocrity IMO. In the end, it's whomever gels best with Maye. Douglas seems like a lock in the slot.

I don't think it was a "like" issue with Jones. If anything, they did him right by sending him where he wanted to go. Rams just didn't want to pay him.

Better of course, but that ship has sailed. The more recent failure was starting Jackson at center vs the Dolphins (and Noteboom at RT). Leave Limmer and McClendon in there instead and we quite possibly are talking about a 6 game winning streak and a tie with the Cards in 1st.

I am quite sure McShitferBrains has learned his lesson and Limmer will remain the starter at Center the rest of the season and into the future. Last week, the Rams O-line allowed no sacks from a blitzing defense and Stafford had plenty of time all day to throw. McLendon also has earned his starting spot and Havenstein can take his time getting his ankles healed back to health.

The O-line will get tested this week and I am quite sure with everyone else in place, we have a very good chance of taking this game with a win, IF the offense starts early and the defense doesn't go back to sieve mode.
