What a game! Embiid is a handful down on the block and Harden came up big in the clutch for once. Good for him

Y'all can't even enjoy a great playoff game without bitching about the refs

What do you expect? It's Celtics/Sixers.

Celtics fans think their team would be unbeaten every year if not for the refs. They even blame the refs for the Pitino era.

And Sixers fans somehow manage to be even bigger crybabies.

Sad thing he didn't even sound like he thought he did anything wrong in the post game press conference

I blame the spurs lies for the pitino era

Mazzulla in theory is exactly what they need

He’s a Huggins guy

He was the toughest guy on the floor when he played

He has the most talented team in the field, but by far the softest

Holy shit you are saying the same garbage you said last time the refs fucked up a game. Just handwave it away. Embarrassing lack of accountability by you.

You know that you have to be 18 to post here, right?

Sure does seem that way. But we had @trojanfight crying last night during a game the Lakers were kicking the Warriors asses. Crying about the refs isn't just a one or two team thing. It's universal gayness.

When did I say that?

Shouldn’t be able to slide under a player who is in the air.

But also not fair to say that the defender has to be completely set. That would basically eliminate the possibility of taking an on ball charge.

If the offense initiates the contact and the defender takes it in the chest, it is a charge. Defender does not have to be “set” to beat the offensive player to the spot.

The bold seems to be that part that some of these folks don't grasp.

The defender just has to be in "legal guarding position", they do not have to be "set".

They can also be stationary or set and still be called for blocking.

In game 2 of Lakers/Warriors, there was a play where Lebron was completely stationary, got hit and was correctly called for a block because even though he was stationary, he was sideways to the offensive player and thus not in legal guarding position.

It's not as hard as they make it. It's not as hard as they pretend it is. Just call it even. You can't have one team getting away with weak shit and the other team not.

It's like more of your brain cells die with every post.

His Lakers fan card is under review as we speak for that shit.

Sanctions are a real possibility.

Mazzulla calls timeout to advance the ball and the shot counts

If they run the same play, maybe. But Mazzulla not calling a TO there isn't really an issue. He gets shit on, and rightly so, for his end game management a lot but this time, they got what they wanted. Tatum just took a half second too long to get moving. That's on him. Mazzulla could have called a TO, set up that exact play, and Tatum still could have taken too long.

James Harden doesn’t get this call ever. It happens twice a Game and it’s never called. Harden hasn’t gotten a fair whistle ever since the NBA produced a video about him to give officials.
