They have a year to evaluate. He is due $23 million in 2025 but can be cut for only $6 million dead cap. I think DQ will get maximum effort out of Allen and Payne this year.

Allen is a keeper. I think he needs to hand over his C to Wagner, especially after the outburst last year. In his defense, this is probably the most losing he's ever experienced on a football field in his life.

Once we get this thing turned around, and we will, I want him out there.

It isn't the same because it is not the overall #2 pick but this kind of reminds me of when they drafted Cousins and everybody was yelling what do you waste a pick for. Ended up being the 2nd best QB in his draft year.

If you want to support him and believe he is the best QB in the world, the Atlanta Falcons would be glad to have you as a fan. Operators are standing by!

Nobody was angry when the Redskins drafted Cousins. Random ignorant posters might have been angry, but I recall most fans seeing the logic. We needed another QB on the roster. There is a bad case of selective memory going on currently.

The fact that he is mentioned everyday is laughable. Its honestly a bad look for a fanbase to still be complaining and following every move of a QB that left 5+ years ago.

And on to the weather....

I didn't mind the Cousins pick. I was just so happy they got RG3. I had no idea of the storyline behind it. Shanahan wanted Tannehill and as a consolidation he was allowed to draft Kirk.

I agree,.cousins was better than some people thought. I liked cousins.

There is a difference in my opinion of talking about cousins generally, and talking about him everyday and pretending you were right and everyone else was wrong.

To me...that is the difference. Again, you weren't even in mind when I posted that at all.
