Connor hasn't scored since November.(the poor Connor line)
I think AM34 is also playing to protect that next contract.
Doubt it. He's still on a 40 goal/84 point pace despite having missed 14 games and while he's sadly going to the ASG he should get some rest in during this lull in the schedule and get back to his usual goalscoring exploits soon.Hope not, because his play right now is costing him $$.

He would have to flatline for the rest of the year, which would be very surprising even if he is affected by lingering effects of the shoulder injury. There's just no upside to the Leafs playing hardball with Matthews - there's already a market set for guys with his numbers, he's an incredibly important member of the team in ways that don't compare at all to Nylander, and given the amount of contracts the Leafs have to work on this summer there's every possibility that someone would offer sheet him. If he isn't signed before July 1, it only means he either doesn't want to be here or wants something on the team to change before committing to being here (like, for instance, the coach).A lot depends on how the rest of the season goes, for him and for the team. Get the offense going, win a round or two in the playoffs, and he gets paid. Keep struggling with goal scoring, get knocked out in the first round or GASP miss the playoffs, and it will cost him. And Marner.
We shall see.
They've used, like, 8 different starting lineups in the last two weeks. That's probably not helping things much.Hey now, Calgary copyrighted the 3M line
Oh shit he's following the Chia model.
Garret Sparks is gonna get paid!!
3 yrs @ $4.5M per is what I hear is the going rate
FWIW they actually announced yesterday that they were cancelling praccy today so the only news here is that Dubas is having a presser.
