Well, considering that lineup was missing their second best defenceman I sure hope not

/I highly doubt they get any kind of spectacular top 4 help though. Most likely a decent but still better partner for Morgan. My biggest hope here is that Dermott switches to his off side and pairs up with Jake.

I hate to be a pessimist but I think we need to adjust to the reality that this is pretty much Marleau now. As long as he's on a line with Marner and Matthews he'll assume the Zach Hyman role of player that Marner constantly ignores when he's open lol.

Just did a quick check, of the 10 opponents the Leafs faced this month among them were the teams with the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th and 10th most penalty minutes per game in the league.

Guess they all were just on their bestest behavior when coming up against the Leafs.
