I saw the Bryce Petty 70-yard TD, SJ76. Between he and Marriotta, we should have no problem finding our next QB of the future.

Another kid that looks just ridiculous is the SS Landon Collins from BAMA. 6' 215 and he's got speed, along with taking your head off skills.

but he's from bama tho, and bama kids aren't making it in the NFL :noidea:

Jameis looking pretty dam good. 8/8 so far at Syracuse.

I watched most of the game and wasn't all that impressed with Winston. He wasn't bad, but he didn't really stand out. He didn't have much pressure on him and didn't seem to go down the field much. That game was a very good example of the recruiting haves and have-nots. Syracuse can't draw the top recruits and was playing with two backup QBs, while Florida State has guys on it's bench that could probably star for the Orange.

That TCU/Baylor game was ridiculous. Baylor just couldn't get close enough with the score until Petty threw that pick 6 in the 4th quarter, then something seemed to click and they scored the next 24 points to win by 3.

I didn't see much of the Oregon game, as they jumped on UCLA early before I switched over.

Fluker and Warmack are having stellar careers with their respective teams. I was yelling till I got hoarse at the T.V. to at least select one of those guys! But noooo.....

Shop what didn't impress you about Jameis?

That he started 8 for 8
Or that he end up 30 for 36, 300+ with 3 TDs? :)

Syracuse isn't a great football school, but they put out a few 1st rounders every now and then.

FSU is just dominant on both sides of the ball. They have some stout guards on that Oline and as I said before, their secondary is redonk.

He was effective, but not electric in any way. He just took what was there. At least in that game, his success was due to the talent level of his team, not vice versa. Their offensive line is stacked, as is the secondary. It could've been a case where he didn't need to do more, but I didn't see anything special from Jameis in that game.

He's pretty dam accurate. He makes players better around him.

I want a QB that takes what a defense will give him.

30/36 is pretty solid I don't care if it's peewee

He won't have that dominating roster advantage in the NFL though. The Orange have lost to much worse teams this year already. They barely escaped Villanova lol.

Say what u want, but Jamies Winston and Florida st play with heart and keep coming back at you. Jameis is making some throws since his rough start tonight.

Good game versus Louisiville right now

Good game versus Louisiville and the #1 defense right now

Down 21 early
Bad penalties
On the road versus the #1 Defense in a tough environment
Jameis throws 3 picks early
Missed FG

What a team. How these guys are defending champs and ranked #2 is beyond me

It's in the AP's ESPN contract. An undefeated SEC team MUST be ranked No. 1! :pound:
