College Football's 2014 beasts

I'm going to start off with.. maybe the Rams FO can follow along and see who's consistent throughout the year, instead of falling in love around combine time. If I leave out any beast-like performances, please feel free to add.

We all know the top QB's. Watch out for Bryce Petty from Baylor.

Kenyan Drake - RB Alabama is just ridiculous. And if he comes out, he won't be drafted until the 2nd or 3rd round. Todd Gurley - RB Georgia will be a 1st rounder and might be the next great running back to hit the NFL if he can stay healthy. TJ Yeldon is going to be a late 1st or 2nd round pick, but I like Drake. 6'1 220 and is blazing with speed. Duke Johnson at Miami is a beast too. Pretty good RBs coming out in the near future.

Not really excited about WR's like I was last year. Amari Cooper looks pretty good and Sammie Coates can fly for 6'2 200+.

Theguy I am partial to is PJ Williams from Florida St. He's a beast and going to be a stud CB in the NFL.

It's early, but I figured I would start this thread so some of you can follow the yearly progress of these players.

Bo Wallace has a pretty good offense at Ole Miss. I was about to put him on my look out list, but he's not very fast. He's a pocket passer, but we will have to see how the season progresses.

Who knows by the end of the year what else we will need besides a QB, but getting a LB wouldn't hurt.

I concur on Drake SJ76. Badass. He is the closest example of a Steven Jackson type back that we desparately need. Jackson was a bit bigger but Drake has some serious speed and size. I like this guy alot.

Retro watching that BAMA Florida game, the Florida RB Matt Jones looked like Stephen Jackson with the long hair and he's 230 and runs very similar.

But Drake has speed SJax never had. Drake has that Adrian Peterson size and quickness. So does Todd Gurley.

As I am watching the Noles Clemson game and flipping to the WV OK game and LSU game, I can't help but wonder how many solid Guards are coming out each year and how hard is it to get one with a 3rd or 4th pick instead of getting one at #2 overall and who doesn't even play?

Marcus Marriotta is a bad man. He's faster than Jameis. I don't think his arm is as strong. And he runs the read option. If we had a smart OC, we could run the read option with our RBs and Tavon going east west ALL DAY.
