This guy named Matress Mack in Houston is a multi millionaire who owns the biggest furniture/mattress company in the city of Houston. Multiple locations.

Long story short, he bet something like 4m on Alabama tonight. He said if you come in and buy at least $3,000 and up worth of mattresses and Alabama wins you get a full refund.

You have to buy before the game starts of course and no returns or exchanges.

So yesterday I went in and dropped $3,500 on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. If Alabama wins I get a full refund.

He makes out regardless. If Georgia wins, he sold a bunch of mattresses. If Alabama wins he gave away a bunch of mattresses, but probably makes it back with the 4m he dropped on Alabama.

Roll Tide. I'm on pins and needles right now waiting for this game to start.

I can't tell you how many baseball games I played in when a bat couldn't even sniff a ball for either team in the first 5 innings and the final score would end up being 12-10. All sports are crazy just like everything else these days.

Maryland won by a landslide by moving to the B1G. Debbie Yow sent MD sports back years with her irresponsible spending. MD basketball was treated like unwanted stepchild by the ACC. I was never sorry to see the Terps leave the ACC.

Who is Duke going to sell themselves to. Great basketball school and lacrosse also but not much after that.
