Oh, don't think we weren't still mass shooting it up during 2020 despite COVID. The number of incidents was actually up from 2019, but therer were (1) fewer bodies in large groups to lead to mass casualties and (2) the incidents garnered less media attention due to a public health crisis 10x worse than our gun violence public health crisis and President McFuckhead. More explanation and data here.

If you are outside the half a million that didn't die from COVID in the last year, you could be one of the 40-50K that reliably dies from firearm deaths every year.
