Thank goodness the third amendment didn't give people the inalienable right to drive cars in a monster truck rally.

Because if so, Republicans would completely ignore the monster truck rally part, protest speed limits and stoplights saying criminals don't follow the law anyway, and offer no counter proposal of how to solve even basic issues of traffic safety.

Ok now actually fix the environment. There’s been carbon taxes in place in virtually the entire country for almost ten years. It’s barely put a dent in individual or industrial behaviours. What’s the next step here?

I'm not seeing how environmental policy is a federal intrusion into a provincial portfolio. That argument just never made sense. It's one of the few areas of governance where it's almost entirely in the federal government's purview.

The smart play on this file was always to voice opposition, relent and then down the road point out the inevitable lack of progress the tax scheme has had in curbing emissions and link it to rising unaffordability. These guys literally forgot how to politick once Harper left town.

I don't know this Scott Moe, but concurrently concerning and reassuring that Canada has stupid douchebags as well. It's sad to see the typical short sighted and misplaced "liberty" and "job killing" arguments as per usual. Because protecting the environment and not creating more droughts, severe weather, heat waves, etc. is actually a strong positive both for liberty and economic stability.

To say nothing of the seditious nature of this Tweet by undermining the authority of the heads of both the judicial and executive branches.

So Trudeau's carbon tax is actually only implemented on provinces that don't implement their own, acceptable plan. Moe can definitely put his own plan into place but it would have to meet the federal guidelines.

That's just basically his pissing contest language so the hillbillies in Sasky think he's still sticking it to the man.

Of course, #wexit is trending in Canada today.
