I'd be more inclined to believe the democrats abandoned the working class if her policies when blindly presented along with his were not far more popular than his.

I know I'm maybe being over dramatic maybe I'm not .. I don't really care about how people feel about me anymore..

I'm part of the problem I had blind faith that good would prevail that people would see the decency in what could be but they choose trump knowing everything about him. Knowing his lies, knowing his hate, knowing his cheating, his racism, his lack of empathy, decency, basic abilities to govern.. and they voted for him anyway or choose not to even vote or picked some independent because she is a woman...

I've always had a little problem with the kill them with kindness philosophy.. that doesn't work but I can't change who I am to be a worse person or lack the ability to care for women,. LGBQT, minorities and those with disabilities that will be impacted ... I'll still fight as much as I can but to what end .... It's feels so hopeless when a criminal takes power and most of the country celebrates it ..

I've not slept well at all since Tuesday night
Well said. I'm still in a dark cloud.
Partially for my friends and relatives in the US, and partially because it is spreading up here very shortly.

Democrats are in office right now. People are having a hard time making ends meet. That’s what’s on their minds. Most people don’t think beyond that.

“Damn life sucks right now, I guess I’ll give this one a shot”. Probably most of the rationale for many younger voters that Trump gained this time around.

Then it’s on democrats to excite voters.

This isn’t a voter issue. I mean shame on those that are so disengaged that they don’t care, but the Left can do better.

Stop focusing on pronouns and go after the blue collar worker.
Bullshit.

If you see what cheeto von fuckface is, and what he is trying to do... And don't do everything in your power to make sure that he doesn't win... You deserve everything that is coming.

In Canada, it's more that time for a new voice other that Trudeau... But seeing who the Conservative choice is, and what he is aligned with... You're goddamned right I'm voting for Trudeau. And I will do my best to make everyone round me do the same.

Up against these two, apathy is just not an option

Yah i really didnt understand Palestinian sympathizers voting Trump. Hes ok with Israel bombing the shit out of them :noidea:

"I can't vote for someone who 'supports' genocide".

So you give the reigns to someone who will guarantee it. Brilliant.

In todays political climate, it brings up an interesting question about which form of government works better - parliamentary or whatever the US has become.

The middle of the spectrum is where the power lies - you court them = profit. Essentially courting those voters is in a way forming a coalition.

So in summation, all forms of government are flawed, Iron Maiden still rocks and Gary Bettman still sucks.

The problem is those of us who did try to stop him will suffer the same fate.

So it's not her policies? Which were preferred by most until her name was on them, that did not abandon the middle class.
It was the economy, so they wanted to got someone new - but not her - a shot? Someone new who was there 4 years before? So no new new....
Or was it the democrats didn't excite people?

Sorry, I'm just trying to keep up. Just kind of sounds like someone is bending over backwards to blame a black woman (she's always been black by the way) for bigots and/or misogynists for not voting for her.
