Not only did Trump win, but our book-banning, outing queer kids to their parents school board candidate in town got elected, and neither of the candidates endorsed by the teachers' unions were even close to being elected.

Things locally are also going to turn crappy, and my wife--a teacher--is going to run into even more stress and exhaustion than she's already dealing with.

I'd like to think it would be less of a shit show with the Dems in charge. When does the mass deportation of immigrants start? Does it matter if they are here legally? How many lives will be lost when doctors are prohibited from performing abortions because they might be arrested? Can't wait until RFK Jr. bans all vaccines and things like measles and polio become commonplace again.
