I can't wait to see the reactions of the folks with pensions and/or social security that were planning on retiring in 2025, 2026 or 2027.
Honestly, all y'all need to do is wait for Trump's tariffs to get set. Then you can offer tax incentives for foreign companies to move manufacturing up there, particularly ones who rely on foreign produced components that get assembled into goods over here. And here's our twisted freak lol

Congratulations to Donald J. Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States. The U.S. is Canada’s best friend and biggest trading partner, and I will work with the President to benefit both countries. My mission: save our jobs. The U.S. has already taken half a trillion dollars of investment and jobs from Canada under 9 years of Trudeau, and our people cannot afford homes and food. Yesterday’s result confirms we must cancel Trudeau’s plan to quadruple the carbon tax and hike other taxes, which would push hundreds of thousands more jobs south where President Trump will be cutting taxes even further. We must axe taxes. Bring home our paycheques. Save our jobs. Stand up for Canada.
The only way a none of the above option works is if there is ranked choice voting.I don't care what your political affiliation is, this third option in NV is stupid.

I would be pissed off to find out anyone that selected *none of the above. As you can see it really does matter in the outcome.
Biden's fault!I can't wait to see the reactions of the folks with pensions and/or social security that were planning on retiring in 2025, 2026 or 2027.
And if you look at all the states that put it on the ballot, each one of them voted against it. There was very good propaganda out there telling people to vote against it.The only way a none of the above option works is if there is ranked choice voting.
If you look at all the graphics that are floating around with Stein's and the Libertarian idiot's totals from various places it really makes you understand WHY ranked choice works. And if you look at all the states that put it on the ballot, each one of them voted against it. Failure on the Dems to not explain it...Could more work have been done by the Dems to change the narrative? Maybe, but I think it boils down to two simple things:
1. Americans (middle class and lower for the most part) are blaming Biden (and Harris) for the current state of the economy and they made their feelings known last night
2. Race and misogyny is still a huge problem in America.
Sadly it is going away.If you look at all the graphics that are floating around with Stein's and the Libertarian idiot's totals from various places it really makes you understand WHY ranked choice works.
It's law in Alaska, a GOP stronghold, and it kept Sarah Palin out of office a second time.
Seriously I bet the R's are hoping this happens and someone will push articles of impeachment that will kick him out of office. And in turn JD becomes president.

He will be offered attorney general or will be executed.
Sadly it is going away.

Idaho, Nevada and Oregon also all said no.
Gas prices jumped 40 cents around here the day before the election. Nothing new, that happens on occasion, and then it takes weeks for the prices to trickle back down to where they were.
Not this time. 2 days later, the day after Trump wins, the price dropped 60 cents. at least at the one station near my house.
