Quite a read.

In regards to America's waning attention span, and potential lack of help - that's all by design. The infiltration of Russian influence in our government ensures that the tap will slowly get closed. I will go to my grave believing that Ukraine never gets invaded if Hilary gets elected.

And The human in me doesn't want to believe that there are people who would take an opportunity to to enrich themselves while their people are being exterminated, but the Cyber investigator in me who spent a lot of time studying the syndicates in Ukraine who were trying to steal money online is not surprised in the slightest.

I don’t think these things are independent of each other but I think a lot of the turning against Ukraine has a lot to do with average Americans finding everything in their lives is becoming unaffordable and the government saying Shit like “of course we can fund two wars between other countries” and both parties having plenty of time to campaign for more money for Israel and Ukraine. Ukraine funding does have widespread bipartisan support even with some of the GOP now fervently campaigning against further funding.

And re: Hillary, worth keeping in mind Putin made his first move in Ukraine while Obama was President and the response by the US and EU wasn’t exactly biting. I don’t think it really mattered who was in charge in the US, this was always going to happen and it might have a lot more to do with Obama showing weakness than anything else.
