Love Everybody
Any names you have in mind? Me personally I have Adam Gase if he can manage the Dolphins into the playoffs.
BB. Starting Garappollo, Brisett no Gronk, traded away arguably the two best defenders. Tied for the best record in the NFL. 119 + point differenial. Cyrus Jones fumbling almost every other punt/ko.
Because Lord Goddell said so.How is this award not named after BB, and handed to him every year before the season starts until his retirement?
Jason Garrett is at the top of my list. The Patriots were without their starting QB for 4-games. The Cowboys have been without theirs for the entire season. Throw in it seems like half their starting defense has been suspended yet week in and week out they find ways to get it done. Dez Bryant has been hurt and Witten is getting up in years yet with 2 rookies leading the way they have had one of the most efficient offenses in the entire league.
Also to add to it they have played in maybe the 2nd toughest division in football behind the AFC West. 3 teams with winning records and including the Cowboys 2 of the top 3 in wins in the NFC.
As far as BB goes, you could save sentences and just state "I hate all things Patriots, therefore he would never get my nod".
Would be so much simpler.
Well if you would read what I write on this board you would see I have a high level of respect for BB. I've said he is the best coach the NFL in NFL history. I just don't think he should win the award this year. He has been hampered in the past because he is just always so successful they usually give it to another coach that has taken a team from worst to first but this year I just think Garrett when you look at the circumstances he is the more deserving of the two.
So you agree he should just win every year until he retires. Awesome, we found common ground.
Reading comprehension is a very underappreciated quality these days. Just because I believe he is the best coach in NFL history doesn't mean that I think he does the best coaching job every year. I think Pats fans would agree that some of Belichick's decisions down the stretch last year possibly cost them home field in the playoffs and a much better shot at the Super Bowl. So while he is great he is not perfect. Again I just think Garrett has done the better job especially when you look at the entire picture of both team's seasons.
Cd I agree with everything except the Garrett piece. We all know JJ coaches that team. Garrett for Assistant coach of the year.Reading comprehension is a very underappreciated quality these days.
