From my observation, Dalton seems to freeze up when some pressure comes. The good ones make a quick, good decision and get rid of the ball accurately, or throw the ball away. They can go through their progressions under duress. Dalton hesitates, and then scrambles or takes off running. I think his protection has been good enough overall that he wouldn't take as many sacks as he does. His arm strength is good enough if he could make decisions quicker. His accuracy downfield is questionable at best. He needs a strong running game to set up play action. He may get better, and we'll find out because he has two years left on his contract, and barring injury he's going to play. I'm worried because his limitations are more mental and emotional than physical. Looks like Gruden's going to be here, too. The third season together should tell us if it's going to work. I have my doubts.

Never said he looks, plays or parties like Boller....Just the happy feet comparison...

I do see a similarity to Boller. Both have trouble going through their progressions under pressure. Boller had a huge arm, but could never make it to the next level mentally. Dalton shows a similar problem without the arm. The same thing has been said about Flacco, too. Take away his first read and he panics.
