But to each his own. Honestly with a lot of guys...just a change of scenery can motivated players and give new life. Doesn't really matter what team they moved too...But it helps that the Yankees are a team Contending...

Has to be a reason why so many players talk about the "history" and "tradition" right off the bat when they come to NY...winning helps...and is probably a bigger factor...but I think those things play their part...however small
