Oh, we could smuggle in Pete Rose too!

hard to believe he threw a gem. We're good on shitty pitchers, thanks
Agreed. But damaged goods is what Boston seems to have gotten.
for 4 starts, yes. and for the last time, he threw 9 innings in spring vs his normal 20-22. it showed.Agreed. But damaged goods is what Boston seems to have gotten.

hes been arguably the best pitcher in baseball in his last 10 starts.
hard to believe he threw a gem.
how he lucked into 18 wins for me in 2017, i'll never know.
its a statistically valid sample size for recent performance, so i did it for all. you can see a trend in IP/start. its also why i kinda spelled it out for you in my last post. he had a 3 IP and 4 IP fart early on.
sales been REALLY good in his last 10.
i know it doesnt fit your narrative, sorry.
I don't see that at all.
3 IPHe's about to get lit dafuque UP at around 7:25PM tonight
this is how statistical trends work. sample sizes. What narrative? He's pitched 14 games, not 10. If anything, it is you who is painting a narrative.
he made 27 starts. he finished the WS. pitched 15 innings.Didn't he miss a third of last season to the DL? And wasn't able to make his starts in the playoffs?

That's just not even a little true. The hyperbole is strong in you, young Jedi

yeah. he averaged 14 pitches an inning last night. not awful for a high K guy.He was dominant last night, too bad his K's were so high he couldn't stay in the game to make sure he got the win. Minor arguably outpitched Sale last night, and has also been one of the best pitchers in the majors this year.
2.17 ERA
.162 BAA
.535 OPS against
68% for strikes
66 IP
38 hits
106 k's
find better in the last 10 starts for anyone. I'd be curious.
