So who else thinks Chip never actually changed his mind about the Philly job & was just negotiating?

I do, and it doesn't bother me at all. He could be fired by this time next year (though, I doubt it). Good on him to get what he can.
It doesn't bother me either. I think it's dumb that some people call it "betrayal" when a coach leaves for a different job or when a player leaves a team as a free agent.
It's a job. Nothing says you have to stay at the same job your whole life unless you're Dilbert.
You don't see in this case how fans feel betrayed?
I heard a rumor on the radio this morning that Oregon is under investigation or about to be under investigation by the NCAA and Kelly wanted out before he had to face the consequences. Kind of like what happened at USC
Football fans are, to a VERY large extent, overly-emotional, completely irrational morons. Sad but true.
I don't blame him at all but I could see the "betrayal" factor when you're in some recruit's living room selling him on your school just to see him bolt a little later.
But I would say all recruits should know full well that their coach could bolt at any time for a better opportunity so they shouldn't be surprised when it happens.
YOU CAN'T SAY THAT ABOUT ME!!!! WANNA GO!!?!?!?!?! I WILL KICK YOUR ASS!!!!!!!
Oh, wait...
"I don't have any preconceived notions of anyone. I want to meet Michael and I want to talk to Michael. And I want to watch the tape. But there haven't been too many quarterbacks in the history of this game with the skill set that he has. I'm in the process of evaluating everyone on this team."
I just threw up in my mouth.
