Yeah, they're definitely going to be transitioning from most of the old names that most fans could probably recognize like Johnson after this year minus Houston who is kind of a freak. The next generation of guys looks pretty promising though so I can't say I am pushing any kind of panic button. Guys like Peters and Jones give me a great deal of optimism that there is going to be a core on defense to build around for quite some time.

I'll take my chances longterm with Mahomes and Reid. If Carr and an old Rivers, and some entity called Paxton Siozweilerien in Denver is the resistance intradivision, I am pretty comfortable longterm with what I am seeing from the young QB. Thanks for the concern though-

Tight end Travis Kelce (calf) was among four players who were listed on the injury report as being limited participants in practice today for the Chiefs. The others were safety Ron Parker (ankle), linebacker Reggie Ragland (knee) and offensive lineman Parker Ehinger (knee). The Chiefs had three players listed as full participants: defensive lineman Bennie Logan (knee), cornerback Terrance Mitchell (hamstring) and kicker Cairo Santos (groin).

Terrance Mitchell healthy, but Nelson is out with threatens the entire integrity of the secondary against an elite QB like Brady. Yep- football is back alright.
