Somebody who's at the game today said it already feels like Wang sold the team. Season Ticket holders have apparently been given 40 bucks off food. The poster said Wang would never do that.

Good! I'm glad to hear that. I hope they ended up being sold. New owner, new atmosphere, this could be good. Good way to lure in attractive free agents.

When I watch the Devils it seems like every game now there is at least one goal that Chico has no idea how it went in, even after multiple replays. I've been noticing that for years but it seems like it's gotten even worse. I get that he's the colour man and not the play-by-play but come on man

That's more in keeping with the value of the franchise than the originally described $300M, which would have been a huge premium.

Here they're essentially saying they don't know what moving to Barclays will do for sure with revenue, so if the hit certain targets, Wang gets more money.

According to Brad Dalgarno on twiiter anyway Pat LaFontaine has been talking to Charles Wang. He could be part of the group buying the Isles. Maybe this is why he left Buffalo?

No chance. The fact this has become public has pissed off both parties involved. Apparently it came from teh Barroway camp. There's a guy who's known about this since December on the Isles fansite. He's saying anything we hear from here on out from guys like Chris Botta amongst others is crap. Nothing else will come out until the deal is done. Bettman who's from Long Island is being extremely careful about the sale of the Islanders. He got burned by Spano, he's not going to let it happen again.
