When I watch the Devils it seems like every game now there is at least one goal that Chico has no idea how it went in, even after multiple replays. I've been noticing that for years but it seems like it's gotten even worse. I get that he's the colour man and not the play-by-play but come on man

Okay word is the deal is about 80% done. There are a few guys on the Isles fansite who are in the know. It's somebody from the Northeast. So not a local buyer. Team has the lease in Brooklyn so they aren't going anywhere. The person who knows the most has said the team will have a Devils feel to it in terms of how it's orchestrated.

I hope it works out for you and the team. Besides a few odd seasons the team has been a joke as long as I have followed hockey. Hopefully new ownership and a housecleaning can right the ship.

We're just messin with ya Bolts. It's good that someone else will control the purse strings, especially moving to Brooklyn. We all know it's only half the battle though, the front office needs a change as well. No better time for that then with an ownership change.

And hell, if Trotz is available soon, he'd be a great coach for ya.

I would be thrilled if Trotz were to become the Isles coach. When the Isles visited Nashville earlier this season he was asked how he thought the game would go. He said well we don't have a Tavares so we'll just try to play our game. He's done a great job in Nashville.

I still don't understand how David Poile & Brian Burke were chosen to pick Team USA. The Predators have the same problem at forward they had from day 1 the became an NHL team. The team Burke built in Toronto is free falling at the worst time.

This is going to be very good for the Isles and th NHL. I'm still pissed they're moving from the Coliseum, but i'm intrigued to go to a game in Brooklyn. I hope this works out for them, I have nothing against the team and I love when this rivalry is intense!

Somebody who's at the game today said it already feels like Wang sold the team. Season Ticket holders have apparently been given 40 bucks off food. The poster said Wang would never do that.
