Sucks for the players and the fans.

As for the Chargers owner, I wouldn't shed two drops of piss for him if that sunavabitch went bankrupt.

Let's see - remaining home games are vs Eagles, Broncos, Bills, Browns, Redskins & Raiders. I believe that all of those are teams w/ a strong presence in the LA area. Redskins already proved that vs Rams & Raiders no doubt will dominate the stadium. I wonder if the Chargers might scrap the player intros for most/all of the remainder of the season.

I wouldn't be surprised if more Browns fans showed up, lot of Ohioans in the SW

Almost included the Bills in there too. Not sure I've ever seen any Bills stuff on any vehicles around here.

The Chargers move to shit hole L.A. is a fucking joke. The team belongs in San Diego.

On another note... the Chargers are still no closer to being competitive at the NFL level.. 0 and 3 - Great start to the season..

they didnt learn the first time.

LA can support hoops. baseball. maybe some hockey.

but not football. college only.
LA can support A NFL team, they supported the Rams until Georgia Frontiere took over, and the teM fell apart.

What LA won't/can't support is two teams, or one team not doing all it can to win.

Read on.

No stability = no fans. They were stable. Once. A long time ago. They arent now. The raiders always had a fanbase moving from Oakland to la to oakland. They'll be tested moving to lv...those loyal fans may go.
Ask san diego.

The rams lost fans moving from la in the first place.

What was sad was that you could hear the 'Chiefs' chants in the 4th quarter when watching it on TV.

After the game ended, the TV telecast went straight into the Packers game and that home crowd was going crazy. It was night and day compared to watching the Chargers cheer their home team.

I brought my some of my family (who are Chiefs fans) three years ago to a *San Diego* Charger game in December - maybe 15% of the crowd were Chiefs fans. It wasn't a sellout, but it was about 45-50k and the Chargers were well out of contention - but with the fans, light years away from where they are now.

They are definitely charting new territory as far as fan support... how low can you go.

So isn't having a team in London

The London Chargers... I like it, afterall, a Charger is a Knight's mount. Exile Spanos and put San Diego on the list for an expansion team.

Good point... I would think London would embrace that team then.. Granted not sure for how long but still

When I used to live in SoCal I remember a good sized bar in Anaheim where pretty much nobody but Bills fans showed up on Sundays. I think that you would be surprised at the # of transplanted fans in the SoCal area from other cities & the various bars that provide a haven for them on Sundays. A lot of them are not the type to be displaying flags, bumper stickers or window stickers on their cars.
