NFC Championship:

Overtime:

For the Packers, it's all about schedule. I can't see Green Bay losing another game, but with 3 division games still, that might change, but I'm predicting that it doesn't.
For the Saints, even with Winston/Hill splitting time, I don't see them struggling too much. The Saints only play 1 team with a winning records for the rest of the season. (Chiefs)
For the NFC West, I see the Cardinals, Seahawks and Rams splitting and competing for the title. I have LA and SEA tying and LA winning the tiebreaker by sweeping the Seahawks. I also have the Cardinals at 10-6.
For the NFC East, holy shit. I have the Eagles winning it at 5-10-1, Dallas at 5-11, Giants at 4-12 and the Red...Washington Football Team at 3-13.
For the Steelers, I have them right now going 15-1 with the only L coming against Buffalo.
For the AFC Wild Card situation, I think it's down to the Raiders, Browns and whoever doesn't win the AFCN between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, AFCE between the Bills and Dolphins and the who doesn't win the AFCS between Indy and Tennessee. AFC is pretty stacked, honestly. I have the Dolphins, Raiders and Browns at 11-5 this year, with the Dolphins and Raiders winning the tiebreakers.
For the Super Bowl, Tom Brady has Pittsburgh's number throughout the years and, while I would love NOTHING MORE than #7 for the Black and Yellow, especially by knocking off Tom Brady, if this is how things end up, I just can't bet against Brady vs. the Steelers, especially in the playoffs AND it's a home game for Tompa.

Tampa is going to need to become more consistent to win it all.

Right now, they're having trouble putting multiple good efforts together

thats true of every team in nfc

saints lost to raiders/packers
packers lost to bucs/vikes
zona lost to lions/panthers/phins
rams lost to bills/niners/phins

bucs just need to avoid saints in playoffs :suds:

So is practically every team in the NFL outside of the Chiefs and even they struggled against the Panthers and Chargers, teams that are at the bottom of their respective divisions. I think the blowout rejuvenated Brady and they get it together the rest of the way.

I can see you getting the teams right, but I think 10 wins gets Browns in still (but reluctant to pick them to get there as I'm superstitious). 11 a lock IMO. some games against each other and other tough games among Indy, TN, Miami, LV.

2 things...

A) So you accept Tua as your lord and savior ;) ?

B) Let's take a look at Seattle next 6 games, after Arizona:

12: Vs Philadelphia ( MNF)
13: vs Giants
14: @ Jets
15: @ Football Team
16: vs Rams( who have a bad track record in Seattle)
17: @ 49ers

We have a legitimate Good shot at the Division but Zona is a MUST win.

Wow. That's a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way. Anything less than 5-2 would be a disappointment.

The Cards have

Seattle
Patriots
Rams
Giants
Eagles
49ers
Rams

I was thinking 4-3 the rest of the way for the Cards. If they beat Seattle on Thursday, different story. But I think Seattle will be out for huge revenge on Thursday. When was the last time Seattle lost 3 in a row?

As I said in the Season Thread on the Hawks board...

Weird things happen in Seattle in Prime Time football!!!!!

Anyway it is hard for me to pick #7 in the AFC because it is all about Consistency...

To me Ravens and Dolphins have two of the 3.

Browns are Jake and Hyde team.
Depends what two teams show up for Colts and Raiders

I still have no faith in Tom Brady and the Bucs being more than a divisional rd knockout. Yeah, they beat GB earlier but damn, they have looked really mediocre at times. They were lucky to escape the Meadowlands with a W. It's not just the debacle vs the Saints.
Having said that, the entire NFC is a crap shoot but the Packers seem to be the favorite if they get HFA. It's really between them and the Saints to me. I honestly can envision the New York Giants winning the east and upsetting somebody. 2020 is just that kind of weird year. If Philly wins, meh but I wouldn't want to be the 5 seed if the Giants sneak in.
The AFC has 2 top tier teams in the Chiefs and Steelers and then a bunch of good teams. I can see the Steelers being the one team that could possibly go into KC and win. Although it's not recent, there is some history there. It just has that feel to me.

Steelers are just solid. I think its fair to say that they've actually outplayed KC as a whole so far this year. Whoever beats them is going to have to earn it. It seems like their defense is really aggressive and leads the league in its ability to just snuff plays out entirely. 1st in sack rate, 3rd in stuffing run plays for no gain. Tied for 1st in takeaways. But as a 3rd down defense they're just middle of the pack. I actually think the Chiefs match up well with the Steelers but the Chiefs are also more vulnerable to weaker teams than Steelers (which flips the script imo because I think normally the Steelers are known for playing down to teams. Thats closer to the Chiefs this year imo) The Chiefs are likely going to need to make multiple third and 4th and short downs in the playoffs and they've been the worst in football at it so far.

I'm also not sure I see Tampa coming out of the NFC. There is talent there but there isn't a 'Patriots way' level of consistency.

The consistency thing is what I think too. I don't trust B.A.'s coaching when push comes to shove. I'm also just waiting for that locker room to implode. It may not happen but there are a lot of clashing egos, it seems. And AB is a ticking time bomb, imo. Maybe Tommyboy can rein him in long enough but I have serious doubts.

Just put it into the NFL Playoff predictor & this is how it came out.

NFC
1. GB
2. NO
3. Sea
4. Giants*
5. Rams
6. Vikings
7. Cardinals

AFC
1. KC
2. Pit
3. Buf
4. Colts
5. Bal
6. Mia
7. Ten (browns had same record)

Ravens At Colts Colts win at home in tight game
Rams At Giants Rams dominate the Giants.
Dolphins At Bills Bills win
Vikings at Seattle Vikings upset the Hawks at home. Defensive woes final catch up with them
Titans at Steelers. Steelers wins
Cardinals at Saints. Saints win but Cards late game surge makes it close.

KC & GB with Byes

Bills at Steelers.
Honestly I think this game could go either way depending who is healthier but for now give it to the Steelers.
Rams at Saints.
Saints win.
Colts at Chiefs.
Good game for awhile but eventually Mahomes does Mahomes.
Vikings At Packers
Actually surprising good game between the division foes. Rodgers & Company end up victorious.

Championship round
All #1's vs #2's
Pitt At KC
KC returns to the Superbowl

NO At GB
Brees & company upset the #1 seed

Superbowl
KC vs. NO

Mahomes ruins Brees bid to go out on top!

i agree. they seem really erratic. it's hard to buy into them right now.

now, having said that, when they have looked good, they have looked REALLY good ........ as in they can beat anyone in this league with their 'A' game. IF they start clicking down the stretch and becoming more consistent, I could see them doing some damage in January.
