I'm gonna go ahead and write a Payton Pritchard appreciate post.

Dude is buried on the depth chart on a team that has the most guard depth in the NBA.

Yet, he never complains (that I've heard) and is always ready when his number gets called... he's all hustle and hits big shots.

Marcus Smart may be out for a couple few games... feed Fast PP some minutes!

My guess is he’s gone This summer

Likely to just restart the clock

Celtics can’t pay a 4th pg 8 figures per year.

Trading him to minny for mcdaniels makes some sense for both teams

But if they trade him now, it means they think Davison is the real deal

Heard another great Larry Bird story today.

Bill Walton was on Dan Patrick and asked him if he had any Larry Bird stories.

Walton said that one year they were playing the Knicks, Bird was having one of those Bird games, was killing the Knicks and Knicks coach Hubie Brown was mad. Ball goes out of bounds and rolls to Hubie. Bird comes to get the ball and Hubie says "Yeah, you're doing great with all these 3's but you can't bank one in".

Walton says Bird gave him the DeNiro "You talkin' to me?" look. He gets the ball about a foot from where Hubie is...looks at Hubie and then banks in a 3.

He then proceeded to bank in every 3 for the rest of the game.

I caught the game today... first one in awhile, I've been busy with work... nice win vs the Grizzles.

Memphis has one of the top defenses in basketball... but the Celtics have so many shooters, they're borderline unstoppable on offense.

Celtics have had a lot of guys out with injury lately... today there was no Smart, Brown or Brogdon... but no worries with the depth we boast.

Loving this season.

Anbodt watch The Celtics / Sixers game Saturday?

Refs are getting into off-season fom=rm, calling fouls against road team only?
Great game - came down to the wire!

Gotta disagree with what you said about the refs.

Total fouls. Boston- 24 / Philly- 25

Free throws. 22-28 (Celtics) / 24-28 (76ers)

It was a helluva game though.

Let's Go Celtics!

He deserves it. He's doing a great job. Glad the Celtics did the right thing.
He inherited a very strong hand... but I agree, I like Mazzulla and he appears to be doing an excellent job.

Always easier for a HC when has a talented team.

And I didn't realize Mazzula played at WV. Liked him even more when I found that out. I'm a big Bob Huggins fans. Back in the day went to his summer basketball camp before he took the Cincy job.

Poor Grant Williams last night... :tsk:

We'll see how they respond.

Their early success is becoming their cancer. They are too hi on themselves. The D is pathetic and ball movement is gone. It’s not acceptable with the vets

Meh, as much as I hate to say it, the C's will likely be fine. Every team has a slump or 2 of some sort during the season. C's are just having one now.

The timing sucks for C's fans, but I'd bet they'll be fine by the time the playoffs start.

I would say the timing is fortuitous. Get it out of the system now and start another run of winning basketball.

hard to say fortuitous if it means the road to the finals runs through bratwurst country rather than the Garden...

True. But with only 2 games back and some 17-18 to play the path to the one seed is still there if they right the ship. That being said…I believe the Celtics have the best road record in the NBA. You want to have home court throughout but it’s not end game if it doesn’t happen. That being said…better get that shit done in 6 holding home court after stealing game 1 or 2. For me, the major advantage to home court is you get Game 7 at home if it’s needed. Home court really only has that Game 7 scenario as the advantage in NBA series.

We will see

They struggled on the road last year as well in the offs

I am the biggest Celtics homer as you know but there is a serious problem with this team

They play like spoiled and non unified brats. ISO ball and no energy.

Brad needs to take this team and send a message

Loss tonight again
