Celts lost to the Rockets !?!? Ok, maybe something is a miss in Boston and this isn't just some down streak. That's just bad
Could be a blessing in disguise for them. The ball has stopped moving for them and they haven’t brought the same defensive intensity. Mazzula is going to be tested here in his ability to circle the wagons and right the ship and now I’ve run out of cliches.Celts lost to the Rockets !?!? The Celtics have had guys in and out of the line-up in recent weeks... I'm not too worried about it.
As a 3 pt shooting team... when the shot isn't falling (last night), they can (and did) lose to anybody.
The C's are 6-6 in their last 12 games with 3 of the losses coming in OT.That was a tough game to watch last night.
Not really worried yet. But they gotta get outta this funk before the playoffs.
Which I think they will do.

And that's with several minor injuries keeping multiple guys out of the line-up here and there.
Not fantastic... but definitely not time to panic.
Huh?They are so broken right now
Huh?
Fair enough. The Celtics are broken. Someone dropped them, chipped a piece off and tried to superglue with back together thinking no one would notice. But everyone notices it and now they lost games.
I had a pretty busy school year and kinda lost track of this thread. However, a last bump now that the season is (disappointingly) over seems right.
Boston had (arguably) the most talented roster in the NBA... in terms of individual talent. They also had a good amount of experience through their roster.
Yet... same old Celtics. This is a team that consistently plays down to their competition. We're a good team (no doubt)... but somewhat less than the sum of our parts.
On the plus side, the Jay's are still comfortably in their primes.
Still, it's hard to know what will change mentally to get this team over the top.
Another problem this team has is health concerns. We now have three important guys... RWIII, Brogdon and Jaylen Brown... who always seem to be injured. Beyond that, Al Horford is ancient of days.
Jaylen Brown... very good, but not great. A tough guy come contract time.
Super athletic, versatile, a shooter and a scorer...
... but somewhat injury prone, somewhat turnover prone, and clearly not a #1 in this league.
Heck, he might not even be a #2 on a championship team.
The first order of business is deciding if not top 25 player jaylen brown should be the highest paid player in the nba
Or can you get scoot Henderson for him
Probably a multi team deal though
Cmon man.
Scott Henderson for a guy you just said is about to get overpaid?
Stop it.
Rookies with star upside don’t get traded for vets. Really they don’t get traded at all unless for another similarly upside rookie.
