watch the highlights, he was freaking amazing. Palmer is done. *yea, I know, not officially, but the fat lady is warming up*

The highlights? he had three completions in the second half of a preseason game... he can't function as an NFL passer at this point. nothing changed tonight. he has some potential though.

Palmer might be done. I'm one of the two people here who thinks otherwise. it is what it is.

It's pretty amazing, starting with Palmer's league leading 20 INTs in 2007, Palmer has thrown 63 picks over the course of 5 seasons (2008 he played 4 games and threw 4 picks), and of those 63 INTs, 61 of them were not his fault. He's good.

What's pretty amazing is that our starting QB goes 5/17for 40 yds in the dress rehersal and nobody gives a shit, and our old QB is getting trolled for this...

Dalton played better than the stats show. He threw 2 bad passes. One was an overthrow of Green. The other was the fade where he didn't put enough air under it. Green even pointed up after the play. He didn't throw any picks and some of the incompletions were throw always from pressure. People on this board have blamed everybody in the country except Palmer for years.

I gave plenty of shits..... There were more than a few folks that pointed out how poorly Dalton played on another post. I thought he stunk up the joint -- The only thing worse was the abysmal offensive line play and lack of any running game.

if I recall correctly everyone said Newtons passing was "raw" when he came out too.

And interestingly, others have vindicated everybody in the country except Palmer. What's changed now? The name on the back of the jersey?

Works both ways.

The difference: there are only a few with their sanity left not playing either of the extremes.

Newton was also the number 1 overall pick in the draft. some important people knew he can play. Pryor doesn't seem like that type of passer, but his running is even more impressive. he's definatley an interesting player.

If he had played 1 more season at OSU I think he would have been a top 10 pick. Maybe not number 1 but an easy top 10 pick.

The irony is you change the name on the back of the jersey and a 5/17 for 40 yards outing can be justified with only "2 bad passes". And that against the worst pass defense in the league last year.

Is being a ginger or a prerequisite to be being the Bengals QB? I know they've made an exception for Albinos??(Boomer);-)

I thought Dalton stunk up the joint the other night.

Me too....I believe the off season doubts about his arm strength have gotten into his head, so that now he's trying to prove them wrong at the expense of his accuracy.....hope I'm wrong
