According to the report Seymour wants 5 mil. Get over it Sickness. He's not taking the vet min to play. Which is what a team should pay for a guy to play 10 snaps a game and be the 5th DL.

Pretty much agree with all of what whysies is saying.

Would it of been nice to have Seymour? Ya I think so but not at that price.

I think baalke and co did plenty to stock this dline. They have been very good. They may lack the pass rush at times but it doesn't help when fangio sends 3-4 guys most times.

Not ready for the nfl production or health wise?

This looks like it's still a health issue and shelving him for the year isn't a horrible idea.

guess it depends how often you send 5 guys, cause its a trade off between pressure and coverage. i'm for pressure too, pending game conditions of course.

there are only a few QB's right now that would REALLY exploit pressure. so other than playing Peyton, Brady, and Brees, i'd lean to pressure.

Re: the pass rush, it was pretty hard to anticipate that Aldon would be out of football for a good chunk of the season, and upon returning would be in mediocre form. He's a huge part of our pass rush, and he hasn't been close to his dominant self since coming back - the Washington game aside. Hard to fault management for that, but the defense is still playing extremely well this year.

You're smarter than all of us Sick (especially those bums in the 49ers organization). You win.

:lame:

There's a flip side to your hyperbolic argument:

The 49ers' decision maker(s) are Teflon; anyone who questions / criticizes ANYTHING they do or do not do is an idiot. Do not question the all-knowing front office.
