The eternal optimist. If we had an actual turd as QB and a peewee football roster you would think they are good. The only saving grace to this team is the coaching. None of the players can execute. It's why we'll beat terrible teams and get smoked by good ones. DEAL WITH IT.

The only team that smoked us were the Cardinals......really just go find another team to be a life long fan of......the players can execute and do ececute.....this team is closer to being a very good team than it is a bad team.......it's gonna lose its fair share of games but it will win it's fair share of games.......not sure why you even care since you seem to be a fan of this team losing

LOL, the only Karma I see here is some Bear's fans going after each other. Opinions my fellow football fans, we all have them. As bad as the Bear's were the last couple of years with Trestman anything has to give you hope. I as a football fan first and a Packer fan second didn't like what the Bear's looked like the last few years. If it was up to me every Packer/Bear game would go into overtime. With the Pack winning of course, well at least 80% of the time.
You have a coach that has surrounded himself with good people, now if management allows him to do his job and they draft and do a couple of good trades the Bear's will be fine within a couple of years if not sooner.
Now back to your regularly scheduled arguments!

No, I'm just a realistic fan. I love the Bears, but I see them for what they are. You're getting caught up in the fandom and are losing sight of being objective about this team. We suck. We only beat kc because Charles went out. We barely beat Oakland, which is a sorry team. I have no idea why you think the cardinals were our only big loss. Apparently, losing 26-0 is a close game. I was calling the way the packers game went since week three of the preseason. I knew we would keep it close in the first half and then lose it in the second. I have been spot on with predicting this football team all year. The only game I got wrong was the KC game, and if I would've known Charles was out, I would've picked the Bears.

LOL, the only Karma I see here is some Bear's fans going after each other. What? I made a post about karma and misspelled karma. I know that's ironic and not karma but still. I also would like to see the Bears and Packers go into overtime with the Pack winning 8% of the time.

So basically what you are saying is that the bears will win tomorrow. Got it.
I don't know. This is the first time we've played a team that is about at the level we are. If I were setting a line, I'd make it even, but anything could happen in the game. I think the coaching staff could put us on top, but I also think Detroit has better talent on their team then we do.

Whether we are terrible or not (I'm closer to your view than leomaz's on this, although somewhere in between), the Lions are unambiguously terrible so far.

I still think there is more that we don't know than what we do. The injuries to the WRs limit our ability to really interpret this offense's potential, which so far hasn't been all that great. We only beat KC - and barely - because of the injury to Charles, and Oakland because of two unforced turnovers we had nothing to do with causing. But they did pick those games up, so I think "terrible" may be too strong a word, and I don't think there is any question that the defensive front 7 has been better than the last two years. But they've also been inconsistent. The defensive front 7 played great against Seattle, and pretty good against Oakland, but KC was owning them until Charles went out. The offensive line has also been OK, not great but not bad.

This is a game that on paper I would think the Bears can win, because they can win the battle on the lines, and I think that's 75% of football.

Ate the Indianapolis Colts a bad team?

If that question was at me, I'd say they are a little below mediocre. They are playing pretty poorly this year, especially both lines. The only reason that team is 3-2 is they've barely edged out some other crappy teams. I expect the Patriots to annihilate them tonight.

They are better than the Bears, but I would by no means call them a good team. Especially with luck hurting.

I don't think is just semantics, but "good" usually implies an above average team in the league, but not an elite team. You seriously believe this team is above average?

or maybe this scale will clarify the question: where do you put the Bears?

Elite
Great
Good
Mediocre
Bad
Awful
Detroit

um, what? Started drinking already Nooner? Sure this season's three games he has been rough, but last year he almost singlehandedly willed them into the Super Bowl. The playoff game against Cincinnatti last year you consider "awful"?? I would have called that closer to brilliant.
