First we're tanking now we get Boozer...? Boozer is nice, he's well worth what we paid, but what the hell do we need him to do...? Isn't he the same guy who told the Cavs and Jazz he was coming back and left both places...? Yeah teach that to Randall...:yahoo:

Seriously, why do we need Boozer... Randall, Davis, Kelly all play PF none play C and neither does he... Really not getting what this plan is... Not only that, how many of you high five-ing each other trashed Pau... We just got a weak version of him... Not really understanding you guys...

Not really sure who was trashing Pau? :noidea:

I do, however, understand where you're coming from. But I think Ed Davis CAN play C. He runs the floor well and has a decent jumper inside of 15 feet. Decent shot blocker and rebounder.

As far as Boozer, not sure of his character, but at a hair over 3 mil and an expiring, there's nothing really to lose here, IMO.

Boozer is not a bad player.

He's a decent player on a bad contract...

Just like Lin and Joe Johnson.

I think some people think those situations are mutually exclusive.

The only thing that makes me  my head is....

The Lakers could have had Lin and Asik in the Howard deal.

But, chose to get nothing in return.

The Lakers could have gotten Boozer in a sign and trade for Pau.

Again, chose to get nothing.

Yet, they ended up with 2 of the 3 players anyway:L.

I don't know what the Bulls were offering.

But, they had to be sending a prospect or a pic, right?

If not, it's understandable why they didn't eat Boozer's deal.

It's just unfathomable that they let both bigs walk without compensation.

I agree on the contracts. I stated that Bulls fans were pissed at Boozer for being mediocre because Boozer was making waaaay more money than he was worth, but had he not been making a ludicrous amount of money, don't think it'd been such a big deal.

Not 100% sure, but I heard LA was asking for 2 pics? Chicago was only offering 1.

Are you gonna suck Buss' dick all season long...?:noidea:

You've done nothing but bitch like a little girl for the entire off-season. We all get it. You hate everything the Lakers have done.

They should have called you in to fix everything. So quit bitching and crying. It's getting old.

Paul Westhead:ss:

All jokes aside, they might as well have kept Trigger Mike for one more year.

Their small-ball lineup would probably flourish.

Not to the point of making the playoffs.

But, they would be competitive :noidea:.

Kept? D'Antoni quit.

Because they wouldn't pick up his option.

That was stupid on his part. I was his biggest defender among Lakers fans last season and I was even done with him after that.

Nah. It's all good. Just passionate fans with a different point of view on things right now. We still end up on the same side.:suds:

I've been good.

Doing a bit of school shopping because the girls go back on the 4th.

How are you?

Why don't I see you around much?

The thing that tripped me out was the Marshall gig.

I figured he got all uppity and big dick, Willie because he had that job in the bag.

Then they hired his Brother :laugh3:.

How do you feel about Randle going to the bench?

I think it's a good thing, actually.

No need to feed him to the wolves.

The kid is only 19.

Let him watch and learn for a year.

Who knows, maybe he, Marshall and Swaggy can be Super-Subs?

I think it's a good idea. If starting out on the bench was good enough for Kobe, it should be good enough for Randle.

Gives him an opportunity to learn without the pressure that comes with being a starter.

Gonna respectfully disagree TF. Kobe wasn't ready straight out of high school to take Eddie Jones' spot. Randle is ready imo. I think it'd be best if we just "threw him into the fire". I'm just gonna have to go down with the ship on this one as I really feel that Randle is ready to contribute right now
