I can't tell if the Canes have a shot in the East or not, but I think they are going to give the Caps (and everyone) more trouble than most people thought.

Canes are the darkhorse in the SE, IMO.
It should be Lightning-Capitals for the top spot...but if Carolina isn't taken seriously, they could foul things up for either or both of TB and Wash.

Have to agree. I have enjoyed watching the Isles scrap for wins over the last few seasons, it's a shame that one game last year had to sour me on them:croc:

honestly, and i dont mean to just take shots at your team (aka i'm going to), but i dont think the bolts are going to put up much of a fight against the caps..

IMO the caps run away with the division (by 15+ points) and the bolts/canes battle for the 6-8 spots..

the bolts are just too predictable.. if stamkos gets shut down from the top of the left circle on the PP and roloson doesn't stand on his head, they're fucked..

i think (even before tonight) that the caps are a powerhouse.. GMGM should be put in jail for the stuff he's pulling off in washington.. i think they win the east easy.. then we'll see how they do in the playoffs
