I think it was more of a case that he wanted more of a leadership role on the team and it was causing some rifts in the dressing room. I don't think 210 ever specifically asked for a trade though.

he was way too one dimensional this season ... hopefully the eye will improve and he can provide more

Gillis said he had a list of 6 guys he'd trade Hodgson for & Kassian was one. Don't think he cared that Kass wasn't ready.

speculation on who was on this list will be on par with speculation of who was part of the Oceanic 6 lol

I still think Kassian has more potential than his Spitfires teammate Greg Nemisz. Nemisz might as well buy some real estate in Abbotsford (or maybe become a realtor full time).

If it wasn't for the Hodgson trade, the Sabres would have never called up Marcus Foligno, who will most likely be a full time Sabre next season.

- he wasn't good enough down the stretch
- if he needs surgery he wants to get it done ASAP
- takes full accountability on not producing
- likes AV as a coach and they both have a good relationship

i heard this interview and Im positive that wasnt kesler lol

/feeling the public heat for the first time in his canucks career has made him humble
