they didn't have 'it' this season, that's for sure.

I was watching some of the Philly - Pitts game from PVR before the Canucks game started, and the first thought I had was how both of those teams would have kicked our asses.

that seems to be the strongest argument of those that want him fired - "well, it's been 6 years, so it must be time for a change"

I've mentioned before... unless there is an improvement available, it does not make sense to dump AV for the sake of just doing something.
we are still a good team, with a relatively young core. tinker, don't destroy.

Correct good sir, if youve got someone better more power to ya. Otherwise stick with what you got, I don't think AV was the reason Kesler was invisible for 5 games.

lol...He seemed pretty depressed last night, but I like him, he definitely hangs on to the bitter end. I can't say I'm a fan of Blake Price.

kesler's not alone in that regard.
8 goals in 5 games (including one empty netter) for the team will not get it done.
Booth 1 goal in 16, Higgins 0 in 9, raymond 0 in 11...

someone else had mentioned in the tweets, the Sedins were point per game in the playoffs again (combined 7 pts in combined 7 games)
the rest of the forwards had 9 pts in 53 combined games.



btw.. as it stands now, Schneider is sitting with the best GAA (1.31) and sv% (0.960) in the playoffs, and it was enough to win ONE game.

He seems at least to me to have the Darren Dreger taint to him (doesn't really want to offend anyone, yet will still get in his subtle digs and when called on it backs off). Paterson seems to me to be more of a straight shooter and I like that.
