I especially thought Harbaugh blowing that transformer to throw the Steelers off their game was a nice touch.

Nope. They found the real culprit.

While Grant has been more than a serviceable fill in for Willis, Bowman and Willis in the middle are the real beast in the NFC. Lynch may be on a tear at the moment, but I think our D will prove to be too much for Seattle.

That being said I think that it will be more of a dog fight than most think.

felt Grant played WELL last night, and he played good the previous game too. so its a drop off but doesn't appear huge?

speaking of which, liked the MLB blitze calls. don't recall any sack by Bowman or Grant, but this is the time to work on it.

The Seattle game is gonna be a dog fight. Niners coming off a win against one of the best teams in the NFL, and they're going on the road on a short week. And the Niners kicked their asses last time; that's a bad combination.

we needed two late returns by Ginn.

yeah, due to short week off a huge emotional game, i'd expect a close game......again.

Agree Harbagh and Carroll at it again! Must win for both teams! Go 49ers!!

The huge difference between this game and last game is that the team has solidified an identity. I don't think anyone (coaches, opponents, fans) knew what we had as a team with that being the first game. We were like a newborn wobbly fawn trying to figure out a blurry new world...now we're a fuckin honey badger and we don't give a shit!

At that point Seattle was coming out if the gates after winning the division they year prior with a couple big FA acquisitions, but with a big Q at QB.

This is really the game that will force all the dust to settle in the NFC west, and although it's not a must win for us, it is still laden with importance in a pick your poison sort of way running into the playoffs.

Disagree. It was a two point game in the 4th quarter until Ginn went off. Seattle probably feels pretty confident having won 6 of their last 7 and playing at home.

49ers: 20
Seahawks: 17

Definitely a tough game......49ers are 1 1/2 point favorites at the moment. I loathe Seattle and this is the biggest game of the year to this point....

Harbaugh certainly won't allow a letdown. He hates Pete Carroll and I'm sure he remembers Carroll saying "See you in "Seattle" after we beat those dbags earlier this season. Seattle has become a bigger rival than St. Louis.

Tavaris Jackson has been playing solid lately but really there good play of late is becuase of lynch. Taking away the run is what we do best. The only factor i see hurting us is the short week and playing in that loud stadium. That crowd is gonna be pumped up and will wanna beat us bad. I foresee a lot of false start/delay of games saturday.

No huddle baby-get those fans to loose their voices and a winded seahawks dee, lol!!

Agreed. Now that we are back in the driver's seat there is no room to take the foot off the pedal.

agree, win Saturday and apply a little pressure on New Orleans to win Monday. the 49ers just went thru it so hopefully its their turn?

As long as we deny Lynch! I want to end his little rushing TD streak and glorify ours!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously if we can finish the season w/o a rush TD allowed, they have to give us a sweet nickname right???? lol

whaaa?

as an OLD fan, its the Rams regardless of the City. it'll always be the Rams whether they're a good team or not.

Arizona seems to be a bigger 'rival' in the West, than Seattle? or maybe its my opinion that they're a better team?

I was never able to see the St. Louis Rams as the same rival once they moved from Los Angeles, for some reason it just didn't carry over. I look forward to the day when LA once again has a team and hopefully they are good enough to consider them a rival.
