I don't care if he threw the flag or not. His choice to answer questions about it I guess.

Players are free to taunt fans all they want. It happens a lot. Lord knows Sherman has done gobs of it over the years. But can anyone think of another player who plays at the Quarterback position who would've done what Cam did? To me it just looks odd when any QB does it because they are supposed to be above that stuff and lead by example. Just my opinion. Cam can do what he wants but he should be aware he doesn't gain anything at all by doing some of the stuff he does.

Well, to be fair to the rest of us "Sarah", we really haven't had time to do all those "nice" things in our Community because we have been watching Football for more than 3 years...

I wiped my ass with the 12th man towel then threw it at some Seahawks fans. I was hoping the Rumble was about to happen but all them pussies didn't want to meet in the Jason't Deli parking lot.
Or they had no clue where the deli that you mop floors at to earn those fat stacks was???:noidea:

It appears Cam Newton is Classless!

Seahawks Fan's Lame Letter Calling Cam Newton 'Classless' Goes Viral

Seahawks Fan's Lame Letter Calling Cam Newton 'Classless' Goes Viral

Another Cam Newton win, another letter from a salty individual.
After the Carolina Panthers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 31-24 on Sunday to advance to the NFC Championship, Cam Newton decided to make the rounds and greet the fans. That was when a Seahawks fan essentially handed him a "12th man" flag (Seattle fans refer to themselves as the "12th man" or the "12s" and carry that banner during home games).

Well, since the Panthers were playing at home, Newton decided to get the flag and toss it toward the field.

No big deal, right? Well, one overly sensitive, overly invested soul named Sarah was so outraged by Newton's actions that she decided to take the time to write a long message on the Facebook page of CBS Seattle affiliate KIRO. And this isn't just one person's opinion, either: The post has since garnered more than 23,000 likes and 15,000 shares.

In the letter, Sarah called the Panthers quarterback "Mr. Classless Cam Newton," explaining that the gesture not only disrespected the team but the fans, as well. She talked about how the Seattle's "12th man" is a community and a family, instead of what it really is, which is a very strong and successful marketing campaign by the Seahawks.

Oh fuck that crying bitch.

I'm by no means a Cam Newton fan, but when she starts trying this "Community that does this and that" which is nothing more than trying to gain sympathy beyond what actually happened - fuck you.

I'm glad people do things like that for their community, but when you start to expect treatment for doing so - good bye.
I agree, as much as I don't like Cam and it was a classless act by Cam, I think it sounds like a Seahawk fan is crying about the Hawks losing to a better team.

I'm going to buy a 12th man flag, eat some beans, take a huge dump, wipe my ass with said flag and mail it to Sarah.

Winning with class certainly isn't important to a lot of NFL players. BTW I am not disagreeing with you. I guess I just don't think its a big deal.
I don't really think it's a big deal either, but a player can get a fine for flipping off a fan, yet Cam can ripe a personal item from a fan's hand. IMO, there has to be a glideline in place. Just my opinion.

Yeah, don't wave your flag in his face then? Pretty simple.

Seems simple enough to me.

Well they should be penalizing the Seattle fan 15 yards for unsportsman like conduct......
If they didn't wan the flag disrespected, what were they doing handing it to him in the first place?

Or just hold on to your own shit.
Huh? Cam ripe the flag out of the fan's hand. IMO, Cam should have just ignored the fan. Have you ever noticed when the visiting team runs through the tunnel after the game, some fans wave crap in front of them. Most of the players just keep going and ignore the fans.

Hard to imagine some Raider's sign staying intact at Mile High. Do what you want at your home field, but leave that shit there.

Was the fan handing the flag to Cam or was the fan just waving the flag?

LOL, by the looks of some of those Raider fans, I don't think most people would mess with them.

It was definitely handed to him. I'm not a Cam fan, but I love when he does this. He should rip down all road team signs and then do the double middle fingers, Steve Austin style.
