I hope it was Carolina fans who gave it to him. Otherwise, they are the ones who should be ripped for allowing that in their stadium. I can't stand fans who come into another teams stadium with their stupid props and expect to get treated with civility. The signs and props are nothing more than something to antagonize and elevate situations in the stands.
I can't wait to hear the stories that come out of the Linc this year when 2 of the most obnoxious fan bases come in next season to play the Eagles. Packer fans and their stupid cheeseheads and Steeler fans with that dumb towel. I'm sure there will be threads about how a mean Eagles fan took a cheesehead/towel and disrespected it.

She needs to grow a set of balls, and then get back to being a football fan.It appears Cam Newton is Classless!

Seahawks Fan's Lame Letter Calling Cam Newton 'Classless' Goes Viral
Another Cam Newton win, another letter from a salty individual.
After the Carolina Panthers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 31-24 on Sunday to advance to the NFC Championship, Cam Newton decided to make the rounds and greet the fans. That was when a Seahawks fan essentially handed him a "12th man" flag (Seattle fans refer to themselves as the "12th man" or the "12s" and carry that banner during home games).
Well, since the Panthers were playing at home, Newton decided to get the flag and toss it toward the field.
No big deal, right? Well, one overly sensitive, overly invested soul named Sarah was so outraged by Newton's actions that she decided to take the time to write a long message on the Facebook page of CBS Seattle affiliate KIRO. And this isn't just one person's opinion, either: The post has since garnered more than 23,000 likes and 15,000 shares.
In the letter, Sarah called the Panthers quarterback "Mr. Classless Cam Newton," explaining that the gesture not only disrespected the team but the fans, as well. She talked about how the Seattle's "12th man" is a community and a family, instead of what it really is, which is a very strong and successful marketing campaign by the Seahawks.

Ah, the 'ole bait and switch. I see what you did there.
Seriously though, why are you so sensitive to Cam getting picked on?
That's messed up. I also heard the kid was in a wheel chair...Now Cam is stomping the flag? Lol this is quickly turning into an urban legend. Soon the story will be that Cam stormed the stands like Ron Artest, and choked some poor orphan Seahawk fan out with his own 12th man flag.
He has??? I think he's just been humbled a bit. Don't think there has been any maturing...side note: damn i sill love Trent Williams now...And Richard Sherman has matured in the last two years. The question is, will Cam Newton mature in the next few years?

Who gives a shit?Pete Carroll still trying to get Reggie Bush absolved? How's that working out?
What was Pete Carroll's part in the USC scandal?

Looking at your teams...How would you know???It's one of the best feelings when you win and people hate you. I'm sure Patriot fans can attest to that. People just can't let go of the past is the real problem. An athlete does something wrong, and everybody automatically jumps on the hate bandwagon. I'm not one to defend their actions. I'm just one that believes in 2nd chances.
I was thinking the same thing. The only reason he looks more mature is because he hasn't had the big stage to stand up there and run his loud mouth.
Pete Carroll is a poopy-head.
I only read it because I thought it was about Tom Brady!!!This post gets 10 pages?????
Sherman hasn't been a public spectacle since that SB run in '13. You do know they still went to the SB last year right? Did he say anything dumb on that run and while there that week? No, not really. He's become pretty boring in his pressers.
Honestly I said up front when he was being a jackass that it was all on purpose to get attention and spread his name out there more. Now that he has that recognition and started getting endorsements he dialed it back to not piss off the people giving him those endorsement deals.
He got what he wanted out of it. Now he's more or less boring in terms of his time in front of a microphone. And for good reason.
Looked like to me the person was leaning over in an attempt to wave it in his face. He jerked it down and tossed it. It happened fast and the person holding the flag is barely in the shot so it hard to see but if I was Cam that is how I would have taken it.Looking at that video, Cam just tossed the flag. Cripes, he could have wiped with it, stomped on it or ripped it up.
....the fuck did the person who gave it to him think he was gonna do...hold it up and run around with it?
I remember him on the sidelines at the SB hootin and hollerin, then giving us an epic sad face gif. He was a turd on the big stage in 12 and "been mature" since then. No, he has just been quiet because he isn't the top dog.
I think Cam is MVP, but I don't think he is elite or "putting up record numbers". I also disagree there is no valid argument he isn't MVP. I think Palmer deserves to be in the discussion. We are mostly giving it to Cam because of the 15 wins. Palmer was pretty close.LOL you call me an idiot but it's you who refuse to acknowledge that Cam is an MVP. The dude has become an elite QB and putting up record numbers there just is no valid argument that he isn't an MVP other than personal bias.
He could have been "humbled a bit", but isn't that part of maturing? He has??? I think he's just been humbled a bit. Don't think there has been any maturing...side note: damn i sill love Trent Williams now...
