It seems that the trade is on hold because Eric Hosmer has a limited no trade clause and the Nationals are on that list, yet he is part of the trade.

I expect the Giants to make AT LEAST 2 trades today. And I am not talking about Poctor-type trades. I am talking legit trades.

I just don’t see any needle movers. Maybe Flores. Maybe Ruf. Maybe Rogers. Maybe Pedo. Not likely Rodon.

Ruf for Davis, apparently straight up deal.

Why? Not that Ruf was a future piece, but Davis looks pointless. I guess he will be pencilled in as the backup plan for 3B next year? He is under team control through ‘24
