First off regarding upper posts,I don't think Chiefs give a shit who they play or where. They're riding a hot streak right now and they won't be intimidated whoever they play. 2nd... Denver needs to run the hurry with Oz more. He/ team seem to function better and timing improves along with the online and run game. Also, they need to find way to put two strong halves together. Coming out start of game or 2nd half sluggish and un energetic is/ has been their Achilles heel all season. Good, important win and am proud of their focus/adjuments/ energy in 2nd half. Now take care of business vs SD MEN!

Being at the game McManus better walk to his car with security because about 75,000 people wanted to kill him after that miss. Excuse me miss is too nice of a word, it wasn't a miss, it was a shank of epic proportions. He better thank his stars he made that FG in OT because if not there would've been blood.

The thing that concerns me about McManus was that he looked so solid and confident early on, and tonight, you could see the fear in his eyes as they lined up for that kick - he looked like the bullied kid about to walk past a crowd of kids going into school . .

He nailed the next kick, thankfully ... Had he not been given a shot to do that, who knows what would have happened with his psyche over the next week

Is Vernon Davis still on this team ?

geeesh

Go with Virg ... He's got some fight in him

I believe Davis was only out there a few times on running plays. They didn't even glance his way once when it was a passing situation.

I missed the forth quarter due to the foot of snow here in Appleton but I see the Broncos won.

Straight nerves got to him. Thank God we prevailed, but I know I wasn't the only one feeling impending doom as soon as the ball landed the fuggin' parking lot.

I really enjoyed that football game - though I realize I could have come out of the game disgusted with the outcome.

I think Oz proved something - I'm very pro Oz at the moment. There's a clear connection with Owen Daniels and Oz - the Broncos can build on that.

Wade Phillips made important adjustments for the 2nd half - that won the game. Great defensive game once again.

Cool stat of the day...The Broncos have now beaten 5 teams with 10 or more wins this season with wins over the Vikings, Packers, Chiefs, Bengals, and Patriots. As down as the NFL is this season the Broncos have actually played a very tough schedule. If the Steelers win this next week that would mean the Broncos have played 7 of their 16 games against teams with 10 or more wins. I'm guessing that would be tops in the NFL.

Some other cool stats. The Broncos have won an NFL-high 8 games by 7 points or less this year. Only 6 teams in NFL history have won more such games in a season.

The Broncos have now clinched their 18th playoff birth since Owner Pat Bowlen took over 32 years ago. Only Bud Adams (21 app. in 54 years) has more among owners.

Nice to see us overcome some adversity and fight our way back into the game. A good sign of a playoff team.

First half it looked like we had lost our fire on D. Didn't care. Frustrated then we finally woke up.

Never this year had we missed so many tackles. 2nd half was a different story.

When watching that 1st half I agree it just looked like a defense that was burned out from carrying this team and was having that huge let down game. I didn't see guys flying to the ball to help out. The DL was getting blown off the ball. They just seemed beaten down. I'm not sure what happened during the half time talk but they definitely came out a different team in the 2nd half. Those 7 yard runs on 1st down were all of a sudden going for -4 yards. The pressure was amped up and McCarron went from looking like a very good QB to one who just looked scared. I remember about midway through the 3rd Quarter they zoomed in on McCarron's eyes and I told myself "We got him!" You could tell his whole demeanor had changed. He wasn't used to this. He was used to winning National Championships by blowing teams out. Now all of a sudden the OL is collapsing around him and he just lost it. Very proud of this team not giving up. We have seen this most of the year that they just keep on fighting.

By the way any kind of update on Brandon Marshall? He wasn't in on that last series and was limping for a good portion of the 2nd half. I'm guessing not much of anything as nothing has been said but just wondering if you knew anything.

Man we need that Bye Week. Marshall, Anderson, Ward, and Thomas all being evaluated today for injury. All but Ward was able to play through the injury so good chance they are not long term issues but with a short week I'm just hoping we don't have that let down game after such a huge game.

I'm still trying to recover from the cold! The first half was miserably frigid and depressing, as the Bengals marched up and down the field. Thankfully, the Broncos managed to warm things up and the crowd responded. Trust me that I represented the SportsHoopla Broncos board well, as I can't even talk today after screaming all night. It was such an epic game to be at live! I'll be anxious to hear the injury report, though. Ward, CJ Anderson, B. Marshall, Sanders and even Brock were all pretty dinged up. San Diego is going to try to come into Denver on a mission and we'll need a solid effort to secure that #2 seed in the AFC. Go Broncos!!

I sent Marshall a text this morning he said "I am good"

All injured players say that. It has gotten to the point where I don't even really ask them anymore, but BMarsh is a great guy to just have a decent convo with so he is one of the few that Ill ask an injury update on.

We have about 40 ankle injuries right now.

DT was also fighting a hammy.

Yeah saw a stat today that Norwood actually played more snaps than DT. I will say one of the added benefits of having Osweiler as the starter is he has worked with all the back up WR's and built a very good connection with them. So with DT banged up, Sanders was even a bit banged up yesterday we still see this next group of guys making plays. I mean Norwood and Fowler both made huge catches in this one. Good to see Osweiler really being able to attack just about every part of the field. Really needs to focus on his deep ball as I think he was 1 for 5 on passes longer than 20 yards and the one completion was on the blown coverage where Sanders had to wait for the pass. Still very proud of this group.

I figured if it was something more serious we would have read about it more already. All I have seen is the one tweet about them getting checked out today which is pretty common this time of year for a lot of players just because the toll that an entire season puts on the body really shows up in the last month.
