Hopefully we can snag one soon in the draft

I actually think Samuel could be an even bigger playmaker than Cobb. He isn't quite as good of a WR but he offers a lot more all around game.

Yeah Cobb is sorta the type of player I have been referring to. We have lacked a guy like him forever and ever and ever... Ty Montgomery etc.

Id give Geo's left arm for a Darren Sproles, Tyreek Hill type.

If I'm a Broncos fan I'm rooting for (in no particular order):

TE
DE/DT (run stuffer)
OT


Broncos have essentially nothing at tight end and losing Jackson to Jacksonville (granted there's ZERO way they could've matched it... Jax overpaid crazily) made one of the best rushing defenses in 2015 PLUMMET in 2016. That HAS to be shored up and the draft is a good place to do it given the premium teams are paying on DLs.

OT lastly is zero surprise. Okung is not a great answer allowing a ton of pressures and the RT situation for Denver is pathetic.

Denver has a couple young QBs.... time to get some protection help, another weapon that can also pair as a blocker, and fix the atrocity that the run game developed into.

Denver has one of the most obvious drafts of any team this year....

They do they just cant get them the ball because of their QB not being a great passer, great runner though. Calvin Ridley and Ardarius Stewart are great playmakers for them from the WR position though.

Sure.... that's nice, but D-Line and OTs are getting snatched up QUICKLY in free agency and the Broncos might not be a premium to pay for that position in free agency. Also, there's not exactly a lot of free agents at these positions you mention. Whitworth will in all likelihood get resigned or paid a premium contract and Kawaan Short isn't going anywhere.

I also don't see a TON of other holes on the Broncos that would make sense to blow draft picks on.

Elway has always operated with the idea of making sure to fill all holes in FA if at all possible so that when he gets to the draft he never has to reach for a position/prospect. Yeah they will add to all those positions in the draft to at least add depth but I wouldn't be surpised to see Elway go for the splash plays in FA. He did this after losing to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl of going big. I can't imagine what he will do after not making the playoffs.
