I think we decided on an all Alabama draft.

I could dig that from a story line standpoint.

Kaaya surprises me for sure after having such an up and down year. Might be a guy worth it later on to get and try to see if we can develop him.

I dont think he will be a "later on" guy though.

He has great tools, you know how teams fall in love with QB's...

He's not ready to make the step yet. He should come back and gain the experience/ knowledge/maturity etc,

Agree- But apparently he likes his grade enough. QB class is deeper next year so probably thinks he has a better shot this year with so many teams needing QB... He sure could use the extra year. He was projected #1 overall going into this year but fell, now he has his work cut out for him to get back up... He finished the season very well though including a good bowl game. He has some momentum and great tools.

Good point. It really is crazy how much people go crazy for QB's. This is why I don't think Romo or Taylor are coming to the Broncos. They can get so much more money elsewhere. We are not getting either of those guys for less than $10 million and really probably going to take over $15 million to get either of those guys. It is great to think they would want to come and play for the Broncos but money still talks and there will be teams more desperate than us to get those guys.

That was pretty much the point of my post. Build up the OL which then in turn helps the run game and pass game. We start running the football with any kind of success and all of a sudden the passing game gets much easier. That then means more points for the offense taking pressure off the defense plus extended drives instead of these 3 and outs. The entire team improves if the OL improves.

First mock draft I've seen has us taking Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt, how do people in the know feel about him? Do we have to go Offensive or Defensive Line in Rd 1 or can we use a good quality LB to play opposite Marshall?

Just finishing watching Tennessee vs Nebraska. Got to love ya some Derek Barnett from Vols. Just broke Reggie Whites sack record. Guy has amazing motor as is very well respected as well.
