I still say QB should be taken in the first round if a Teddy Bridgewater ...types fall to us .. I still cannot believe we passed on him.. yes I get we got something pretty sweet all the same still you take the #1 prospect QB that late ...sorry I still get pissed every time I think what could of been !

IMO this Draft is all about LT , TE ,G, DE, NT...then stabs at 5th round on MLB, OLB'er ,RB WR.
So, you don't think Osweiler is the one who can command this offense?

I said when we drafted him that due to his sweet feet he stands a Chance in the NFL. He is so tall that is going to be close whether he can get the ball gone quick .. I think he makes it not total sold ..

Is there a Center that is a can't miss prospect? If so, I'd be happy to take him in late 20's, early 30's. Paradis has yet to impress me and I'm not seeing improvement as the year goes on.

Honestly from what I have seen and read not really. What I could see the team do though is move Garcia to Center next year since he has the experience at the position then maybe work to find somebody to take over at Guard. Heck we could see a huge reshuffle of the OL next year with maybe moving Garcia to Center, Sambrailo to LG, and then draft somebody to play LT or maybe as some have speculated the Broncos trade with the Browns for Joe Thomas. That could be how we use our 1st round pick.

What you might be missing in these delayed blitzes is that I see RB's not Center being used later in games to pick up ..So if you are talking that as your problem he might be doing what his blocking scheme is calling for .

I do get there is a problem with the OL but I don't see it with just one player .. I see it as we are not winning our battles one on one seems to be a let down by someone but I see all the players getting it handed to them last night it was a player playing hurt that got it handed to him and Schofield getting bull rushed hard ..
Paradis fell down once I seen were it hurt the team .. to say it is all the teams problems and point Center I am not sure .. I will say a few really good runs went though his hole ..

Can someone point out the grades on the OL as a year over all .. I am not that into watching the OL ..

Few centers I like but not really early in the draft.

Paradis really bothers me..

I think we fill OL in FA next year. We have some young players who will compete. Im not sure we draft a million OL like everyone else thinks. I think it might be more of a focus point in FA.

Our tackle spots will be between young players we need to fix the interior with some proven vets.

Don't understand the hate on Paradis and not Mathis. Must be the guys that thought he was all world when he came to Denver and are trying to deflect their embarrassment on someone else. Yeah, Paradis isn't perfect but at least he gives 100 % effort. Think some of you need to go back and watch how many times Mathis gave a half-assed effort. Then come back and pick on Paradis and others some more. Tsk,tsk, task. Shame

IMO Paradis has been awful. Mathis has been average.

Mathis is a good pass blocker not so good run blocker. He's a stop gap until Max starts next year, IMO.

Much needed signing this year before the season started but he hasn't been the same Evan Mathis the last two years.

I was impressed with the block he threw that helped Denver win the game.

Mixed bag Mondo .. I say to early but I am not sure one way or other ..he has the brains this I am positive of his Anker is not perfect so I do get some of critics but lol there have been plenty Denver OL with that as a problem .. look as a power guy not so much .. as a Center that has wheels and can hit targets and is brilliant and In time run this system to fine well oiled machine yes .. but he still needs to find a little more power thisd off season we are talking close and he is IMO a lot like Dan Neil in this .. Difference is Neil was a pipsqueak and my god he had a temper that kept him in the NFL .

he is close I think he will make it .

Also I want some Thompson before I would judge Power running any ways ..

Next week I am hoping Thompson at least at Full back crap he is to darn good to not use he would kill LB'ers coming out into the flats catching passes ! he is a zone runner naturally

Yeah I am not ready to give up on Paradis. He has probably been one of our best at the combo block then shed off to the next level type plays that are so key to the ZBS. His pass blocking leaves a lot to be desired for sure but I would say that about most of our OL right now.

I agree with CD - Paradis will make the run game go and will be a smart center. He got dumped on his butt a few times because he was back peddling too fast to keep his weight underneath himself in balance.

Ryan Harris made the block of the century on that game winning TD run. It was unbelievable
