Going by BaseRuns, Jays are the third unluckiest team in the majors.

But their team ERA is still godawful and they have nobody to blame but themselves. Even one better starter and the Jays are probably at most 3 games back of the Yankees.

Their infield is rough on pitchers. Not the players, the actual field. I don't think there's a faster infield than the Jays'.

They could use an upgrade, but their team as built was good enough to win the AL East.

A little perspective on Tulo's home/away performance. He'll be playing the majority of his games at the Rogers Centre and Fenway/YS3/Camden.

On the plus side, Tulo is much better at fielding grounders than Reyes, which will be great when the Gyrocopter trades for a ground ball pitcher.

At least Tulo has a good case and has had a plethora of years you could call him the best one. Reyes has never been the best SS. Even in his best years, he was outperformed by Hanley/Tulo/Jeter/etc.
